He mixed the sugar in with warm water, making sure not to add too much. Then came the limes. Jugo loved limes. These were lovingly picked from the Lima Family farm that morning. Using a sharp knife and a small cutting board, he cut each lime in half and squeezed the juice into the pot. Afterwards, he dropped the half-lime into the pot whole. Then, after adding his family's secret ingredient, it was time to cool the batch of freshly squezed limeade. Jugo shut his bright blue eyes, and set his horn softly aglow. His sky blue magic surrounded the large pot, and slowly began to cool it to the perfect, refreshing temperature for the hot summer's day. He then used his magic to delicately lift a portion of the limeade into a simple glass pitcher. He had already set up the rest of his limeade stand earlier that morning. He had to get set up early, to make sure he got enough business. Limeade was not the most popular refreshing drink for sale at the Ponyville Farmer's Market. The most popular was, of course, Sweet Apple Acre's famous apple cider. There were always ponies lined up for their booth, and they always sold out their daily supply. Jugo grumbled to himself. He knew he couldn't compete with Applejack and her Cider Dynasty. No. The one he had to look out for was Lemony Squeeze. The mare who ran the lemonade booth across from him. He stared daggers at her as she set up her own booth. It was painted a bright yellow, nearly the same color as the buttercup-colored pegasus. Jugo's booth was similarly painted with a lime-motif, and the unicorn farmer himiself had a lime green coat and mane, with a cutiemark to match. After setting up her booth and making sure everything was in order, Lemony leaned on her counter and gave Jugo a bright smile. The stallion returned her smile with a determined grin. "Limeade was better than lemonade," he said under his breath. "Limas. Are. Better. Than. Limones."
