Logline:

Twilight came of age at the crux of a cosmic shift. In the Equestria we know, she postponed the end.

Theme:

The end of an age, the beginning of a new one, and the will to survive when death would be a blessing are minor themes. The degree to which we can fight fate is the major theme, and the conclusion is that we can't.

Appeal:

For me, the appeal is catharsis. I'm so done writing fan fiction that I want nothing more than to watch all Equestria burn in dragon fire. Destruction of that magnitude always makes for a good show, and it is confined to an alternate universe. It'll be the most complex narrative thread I've approached to date, with loads of characters and factions and motives. Settings spanning Equestria, including blasted villages and great battlefields.

That it's a novel in eight chapters means it'll read like a punch in the gut.

What else is there? There's the passion, the drive to survive in a living hell. It's not something this generation of Equestrians has ever encountered. While the focus is on the individuals involved, the scope is huge. The Equestrian Dark Age is the clash of gods.
