The Beginning of a Legend
Load Full Story"Falling Star!" A voice amplified by a microphone said, announcing Falling Star's name across the room. Behind the curtains, Falling Star gulped, even though he had been acting his whole life, this moment seemed more straining then usual. His friend, Thunder Clap, pushed him forwards a little, edging him closer to the stage. "What's wrong Star?" Star replied with a smile, "N...Nothing..." He said as he trotted onto stage, not letting Thunder come up with any snarky remarks. Fallen Star looked around him, into the crowd. All of the faces weren't friendly, they just wanted for this kid to get his speech over with so they could go home.A small drop of sweat dropped down Star's face, why was he so nervous? Fallen Star finally came to a conclusion, this was the day he ran away...forever.
"Well come on kid! We have homes to get to!" Some-pony said from the crowd. others murmured in agreement. Star looked straight into the face of the pony who called out and said, "Well, I wouldn't want to disappoint you." From those words, a legend began, a legend that would inspire all little ponies that were told they couldn't do anything. Falling Star ran. He ran through the amphitheater, he ran outside into the cool starry night, and he ran the rest of the night, not thinking about anything else other then the two hooves in front of him.
That was the beginning of a legend, the beginning of the Rising Star.
