chapter 1: Introduction to Scootaloo.
The day was hot and muggy as Scootaloo made her way around town,just like any other day. Scootaloo was an orange furred pony with a bright magenta mane. Only a small filly,she was abandoned by her mother and father when she was eight and ever since has been wondering the streets. Now she was nine and three quarters. She was almost ten. She didn't really have friends and the only way she could even attend part of school was because the school was nice enough to let her into the school.
This of course,would not last forever. The fact she was homeless made the school wonder. should we really let her in?* And they were seriously considering kicking her out.*
This also,was a secret to all except the principal and vice principal who had no supervisor. Cheerilee one of the few teachers there also knew. Considering Scootaloo was in her class.
"We can let this go for much longer!" A posh and quite shrill voice came from inside the meeting room.
"Ah,yes, we know Platinum Hide. But for the sake of all the school ponies it *must be done!" Another pony argued back. Obviously talking about Scootaloo.*
Scoot's took a step back from the door and shook her head furiously as she listened to the voices arguing with Platinum.She shoved her way past a few school and went across the hall to get some water. She'd been standing there for hour's on end listening to the mare's and colt talk about her...The filly who wasn't wanted. She shoved her way back to the door and listened intently.
"They think their gonna get rid of me so quickly huh? Why? Am i not a good enough student! I've gotten all A's and B's on my last report card!" She whispered to herself hearing the voices in the room grow louder and even to yelling. She couldn't believe it. They were going to kick her out of school because they didn't have enough money.
Scootaloo kicked the wall with her hoof. "You sick-" She cut off her sentence before she could finish. She couldn't say that in front of all these school ponies! There would be twenty of them running to the principal's office after school to tell him!
Platinum Hide *despised Scootaloo. And everypony knew it!*
"Hey Scootaloo,wanna come hang out after school?" Sweetie Belle asked with a kind,high pitched tone.
"No. I have to sit here and listen to these ponies argue about whether to kick me out of school or keep me in. Just because of money. Really. They might kick me out because *i can't PAY!" Scootaloo's voice cracked a bit from not having much water. why the hell does Platinum hate me so much? Scoot's asked herself quietly fighting back tear's of sorrow and hate for the hateful young colt who everyone thought was 'a great principal!' He's twenty five for buck's sake! Scootaloo yelled out in her mind. That colt was mean. Really mean.***
No one was nice to poor,homeless Scoot's though. "No kind word's from anyone,no compassion anywhere." Scoot's recited the word's in her mind faintly. She didn't want to become like that character. Though. She would find her love.
Scootaloo has a passion for good music. She especially liked music she could relate to. She got up and danced around for a while reciting those amazingly fitting word's many,many times.
She liked singing song's with Sweetie Belle and often did. But a lot of the song's that she like Sweetie would say neigh to.

Scootaloo looked back at the school.
Never again shall i go back. I hate it there. It's stupid and everyone there is rude to me. Never am i going to go back to see Platinum Hide for doing something innocent.
Scootaloo had decided what she wanted to do at last and she would do just as she told herself. She would venture the world. She would hitchhike,walk,learn to fly for all she cared! Just she would NEVER set her eye's on that school. That cursed school!
She'd set out tommorrow. She couldn't leave without saying goodbye to Rainbow Dash. She couldn't tell her friends about this quest for somewhere else. They would go with her or hold her back and she could not do that.
She took a deep breath and leaped up in the air to the cloud Dashie was sleeping on.
"Yo. Sup Scoot's?" Dash asked waking from her slumber and looking at Scoot's with a smirk on her face. "Come to show me a new trick?" Dashie chuckled.
"Actually. I came to tell you something." Scoot's said scraping her hoof across the soft,welcoming cloud
Dash sat up and examined Scoot's with a worried look. "What's wrong?" She said with her scratchy yet so soft voice. Scoot's took a deep breath and looked up. "I-I'm going." Scootaloo said hesitantly and quietly.
"That isn't to bad! Where are you going to? AJ's?" Dash asked excitedly
Scoot's looked in surprise at Rainbow Dash. "No-You don't understand. I'm going...Forever...T-To Canterlot or Manehatten...I'm going anywhere except here! Forever!" Scoot's said with her wide eye's.
Dash closed her eye's and shook her head. "You can't do that!" She said loudly and squeaky. "I have to! I'm so sorry Dash!" She said with tear's rolling down her face. "No. Scootaloo. You can't." Dashie said with a high and commanding voice despite the tear's coming down her face like a fountain.
"I'm so,so very sorry Dash!" Scootaloo said sucking up any tear's she had coming from her. "I-If you must." Dash said with a sad tone. "But-But at least learn to fly and visit cloudsdale some day!
"I will...I promise..." Scootaloo said sadly and turned away. The locket. She bore a locket around her neck. "But first i must give you this." Scootaloo ripped off the piece of jewelry and handed it to Rainbow Dash. "What's this?" Dashie said opening it to reveal a picture of her and Scootaloo. "I must not bring any memories for they shall just make me go mad." Scootaloo said wisely and then turned back around and then jumped off the cloud opening her wing's so that she could glide down.
