Call to arms reaches a dark mage ready and waiting. He enters Equestria, seemingly seeking nothing more than its destruction. Allied with daemons of the world’s past, he sets out to bring his plans to life. Surely there must be a brave knight to stop the evil schemes, and save the day yet again, as it always happens.

There, however, are no knights to be found, only a retired warrior who has seen far too much in his life, forced to embark on a journey he wishes to call his last. When Death himself crosses the paths of the living and borders of morality are uneven, who will prevail in the end?
