First Encounter

As Twilight lead Shockwave and Soundwave to her house, Shockwave recently learned that the name of the species that inhabit this planet are called ponies and that there are three types of them; Earth, Unicorn and Pegasus.

As he learned that he couldn't help but admire the environment around him “I hate to admit it but this planet is quite beautiful. Imagine the amount of energon we could harvest from it. Lord Megatron will be pleased.” Shockwave thought until he was interrupted by Twilight.

“So Shockwave where did you and Soundwave come from?” Twilight asked as Shockwaves eyes shrunk in “Oh damn it what do I say…..Think Shockwave think.”

“Ummm… Well you see…... we...ahhhh-”

“We come from Hooftin.” Soundwave answered which caused Shockwave to look at Soundwave with a surprised look on his face. “To be more exact a desolate part of the city and we’re trying to make out a living. So we would appreciate you letting us stay here.” Soundwave said.

“Hooftin...Thats pretty far from here.” Twilight said in a tone that made it clear that she was still curious how they traveled such a long distance.

Shockwave was still surprised that Hooftin was a real place and that Soundwave knew that, but decided to play along for the sake of their mission.

“Indeed but we wanted to travel to here for a good reason.”

“And that is.”

“Well we traveled far because we heard so much good things about this place.” Shockwave said as he lied to her which caught her attention.

“You did?”

“Why of course. Me and Soundwave wanted to come and see for ourselves.”

“Oh thats great. So how long will you two be visiting here?”

“Just for two weeks then we would be on our way back home.” Shockwave said as they three of them stopped in front of a large tree house.

“Well, here we are.”

“You live here…….In a tree?”Shockwave asked her.

“Yup. I lived here for three years.”

Shockwave just looked at her and tried to analyze it. “ Why would this organic live in a tree but not a suitable structure like the other inhabitants in this place, does she realize it could catch on fire or attract insects…...Or both……….Most analyze further.”

“Nice place.” Soundwave said.

“Thanks Soundwave. Now give me a minute while I open the door and we can talk inside.” Twilight said as tried to open the door. While she was opening the door Shockwave then turned to Soundwave.

“Nice save back there.”

“With what?” Soundwave replayed as he looked blankly at Shockwave.

“You know…..Telling her that we were from Hooftin. How did you even know it was a real place.”

“I didn't.”

“........Pardon.”

“I just guessed.”

“You guessed.”

“Affirmative.”

"Consider ourselves luck that Twilight doesn't have a map on hand." Shockwave hissed out in a hushed tone to Soundwave.

“Affirmative.”

"Don't you mean hoof?" called the brilliant mare which made Shockwave turned to her.

"Yes, of course. Silly me!" Responded the confused Shockwave.

“Ummmm….Alright then.” Twilight said

Twilight opened the front door and as soon as they entered Shockwave was marvelled by the various books in the room. “How many sets of books do you own?”

“Oh well plenty since its a library. I hope you don't mind the small space.”

“Mind…..Why Twilight this is amazing!”

“Really?”

“Well of course. The amount of knowledge that you have here is great.”

“I wished my friends can say the same thing.”

“Why Twilight, it amazes me. A gorgeous young mare like yourself is so, interested in books and learning.” Shockwave complimented, as Twilight blushed at his comment.

“Thanks, nopony has every said that to me before.”

“Meh….. it's alright.” Soundwave said as he looked unamused.

“What do you mean by that?” Questioned the confused mare.

“Judging by the amount of books that you have and the thickness of each one, there is not a lot of data here.” Replied Soundwave, Twilight just stared at him, as Shockwave could only face-hoof himself.

“Well, that was...uh...awkward.” Twilight pulled Shockwave out of earshot. “Is your friend a little, loopy?”

“Do you questioned my friends mental stability?”

“.....Yeah.”

“This doesn’t compute, why are you two huddled together….Are you two about to perform in interface?” Twilight didn't know what he meant by interface but Shockwave completely understood as he gave a deep blush.

“No Soundwave, we weren't.”

“What did he mean by interfacing?” Twilight whispered.

“Nothin……. think of a lie quickly.” Shockwave hissed.

‘Then what is it.” Soundwave asked them.

“We were...uh…discussing…” Twilight nudged Shockwave, urging to him responded.

“We were discussing about Hooftin and our job there.”

“Ohhhh…..Affirmative.”

Shockwave and Twilight both sighed in relief, thanking that Sound-.

“Twilight’ your home!” Both Shockwave and Soundwave both turned towards the noise and their pupils shrunk in as a drake was standing there.

“Oh, hey Spike, I forgot all about you…….How are you.” Twilight asked as she trotted towards the drake and gave him a hug, which he gave her a hug back.

“Oh I’m good, I’m just-” Spike stopped as he noticed the two stallions standing behind Twilight as they both were just staring at him.

“Ummmm….Twilight, who are they.”

“Oh, these two? I bumped into them while I was walking home. They told me that they came all the way from Hooftin, to visit Ponyville.”

“Cool. Ummm…..Hello?” Spike waved to the two but they just stood there and just stared at him.

“Ok I guess I’ll just leave, I can tell when I’m not wanted.”

Spike was about to turn around until he was stopped by a male voice calling out.

“Wait.” Spike turned around to see the dark purple unicorn stallion trotting towards him. As he got up close Spike could see in great detail his features on his face; He had purple eye pupils and his mane was purple as well, he also had I scare going down his right eye but what caught Spikes attention was the stallions cutie mark. It looked like some sort of symbol with a picture of a dna behind it.

“Look sorry about that…..Me and my friend haven't seen dragons before sooooo, to see you it took us a little off guard. Sorry about that.”

“Don't worry about it, I get that a few times. My names Spike.” Spike said happily as he raised his hand for a hand (Or hoof) shake.

“Pleasure to meet you Spike...My name is Shockwave and this is my friend Soundwave.” Shockwave said as he motioned to Soundwave to come over. Soundwave nodded and walked up to Spike.

As he got closer Spike could also make out in great detail of the features of the second stallion. His fur was midnight blue, he had a black mane and his eyes were a permanent blood red, his goatee was also black which matched the colour of his mane and he was also a Pegasus. But what was odd about him was that he had the same cutie mark as Shockwave but the only difference was that it had music notes on the side of it. Spike questioned it but he just guessed that he was a dj or a music artist. But he still wondered why they both have that scary looking symbol.

“Go ahead Soundwave, introduce yourself.” Shockwave said but knew who Spike was going to react.

“Hi…..It is very nice to meet you.” Soundwave said giving the best smile that he could.

Spike at first was thrown off by this and Shockwave was getting ready to come up with a lie to expl-.

“Wowwwww your voice is cool.” Spike said wide eyed and in awe.

“Processing…….processing…….Thank you.”

“Ooooo.... k then…..So Soundwave huh. Cool name.”

“Thank you Spike. You have a suitable name for a dragon.”

“Thanks…..I guess.” Spike said and noticed that Shockwave was coming closer to him.

“I must say Spike….You are quite…..Fascinating.” Shockwave said as his eyes were scanning the drakes body.

“W-What do you mea-” Before Spike could finish Shockwave grabbed his face with his hooves and started to squash and stretch his face as he “Analyzed” him. “Fascinating…..You're reptilian scales are tough and look to have armor capabilities, they look strong enough to stand against anything….Very interesting.” Shockwave then proceed to open his mouth and look inside. “Humph….And very sharp teeth for devouring your victims to.”

Spike shoved Shockwave away. “Dude, I don’t eat meat. That’s disgusting. I prefer to eat minerals and gems.”

“Strange, a reptile of your physical build should enjoy meat. And may I ask where are your wings. I thought that your kind can take flight.”

“Well yeah we can but…..I wasn't born with wings.” Spike answered with a sad tone in his voice.

“Ohhhh I’m so sorry.” Shockwave said as he did his best to sound sad but he thought differently in his head. “Ohhhh…..Great. The first dragon I see and its defective. Humph…..No matter I will take great pleasure of experimenting on him after Megatron conquers this planet. Besides It would give me the chance to see how durable his scale armor is against insecticon acid or a 1000 pounds of pressure.” Shockwave thought smiling but decided best to keep that to himself but he was interrupted by Twilight.

“So Shockwave do you and Soundwave have a place to stay while you're here.”

“Acutely…. now that you mention it….we don't.”

“Well you two can stay here if you want. Until you have to go back home.” Twilight asked.

Shockwave couldn't believe it. Not only was she giving them access to data that they needed to conquer this planet but she was also offering them a place to recharge. “Wow this is so easy I almost feel bad…...Almost.”

“Thank you Twilight that would be great.”

“No problem and if you want I can show you two around Ponyville since me and my friends are going out for lunch. You two can tag along.”

“Really but won't your friends be awkward around us.”

“Of course not. What would make you say that.”

“Well...When me and Soundwave came here, everyone has been giving us strange looks.”

“Wait, don't you mean, everypony.”

“Of course. Sorry about that, I mean ‘everypony’ was staring at us.” Shockwave replied, as he was getting annoyed with these equine wording.

“Oh, don’t mind them. They do that to any newcomers.”

“Why?”

“Well, lets just say a lot of stuff happens here. Besides, my friends would love to meet you two.”

“Ok…. well Soundwave and I would be happy to tag along then. It would give us a chance to see the rest of your town.”

“Great.” Twilight as she looked at the clock and noticed it was getting late. “Well its getting late. Spike its time for you to get some rest.”

“Alright. Goodnight Twilight.” Spike said as he gave Twilight a hug and she gave him a kiss on the cheek. Spike the turned to Soundwave and Shockwave. “Goodnight Soundwave. Goodnight Shockwave.”

“Goodnight Spike.” They both said in unison and Spike went of to bed. Leaving the tree alone.

“Well I guess I’ll show you two to your room.”

“Room.” Shockwave asked.

“Ohhh...Yea I only have one spare room. Sooo you two are going to have to share. Sorry.”

“Negative.”

‘Why not Soundwave?”

“Because we are not a couple. It would be awkward.”

“Ok...well, one of you could sleep with me.” Twilight replied.

Both stallions looked at each other and Soundwave went up close to Shockwaves ear “There is no way I’m sleeping with an organic.”

“Agreed, we could take turns?”

“Affirmative.”

“Twilight, we have come up with a solution. We will sleep together in the bed.”

“Affirmative!’

“Are you sure?”

“Yes. We didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable.” Shockwave said as he still had a slight blush.

“Alright then.” Twilight leaded them towards their room. As she was leading them to their rooms Shockwave leaned over to Soundwave’s ear “Any contact from Megatron yet?”

“Negative….No signal.”

“Any ideas to contact him?”

“We could possibly build a signal amplifier.”

“Put how? They don’t have any advanced technology here.”

“Then what do we do.”

“We’ll just have to wait for Megatron to contact us.”  

“Well this is it.” Twilight said as she lead them into a small bedroom. “Do you guys need anything else?”

“Nope we're fine...Thank you.”

“No problem….Well Goodnight.”

“Goodnight.” They both said in unison and then Twilight closed the door, leaving the two Decepticons alone.

“Well that was something.”

“Affirmative.”

“Its been only a day and we learned quite a number of things about this place.”

“Is it enough?”

“No we need more. Her taking with us around Ponyville is the perfect chance for us to learn more. And most of all by spending time with this Twilight Sparkle, I could study on how she can manipulate the energon radiance.”

“Didn't she say that pony unicorns could only use this so called “magic”.”

“Yes Soundwave but there’s one thing that I don't get.”

“What?”

“She said that there were only three kinds of ponies: one with wings, ones with horns and one with none.”

“And?”

“Then why does she have both wings and horn and why did I get a strong energon residence on her then with the other unicorns?”

“Answer…..Unknown.”

“Yes well we can find out tomorrow...For now let us get some rest.”

“Affirmative.”

“I just hope Megatron contacts us soon.” And with that both Decepticons got into bed and closed there optics for there second day of their mission.
