I have no authority of the sort, all my job was is to guard the magic of light and the magic of darkness. So I spent my time sitting inside my hidden chamber, isolated from civilization and my existence was kept a secret. At least...it was. No it is only a matter of time before guards fine me and execute me for being an Alicorn, but I wonder. What will they do of me before? I have heard of reports of rape, abuse and torture. Wonder if they will do those to me before I die. I must stay strong and willed and if they try, they better expect a fight. As I watch the land was in chaos and I could have sworn Discord was laughing in the background. Alicorns were being slaughtered and executed secretly, families wept in sorrow as they are informed of their loved one's fate. A land of peace and harmony...more like a land of pain and lies. Since this will be my final words I might as well reflect on what I have done to help Equestria. When I was born my mother and father never thought of having an Alicorn foal. They were both scientist and claimed it should have been impossible to have an Alicorn foal. They still loved me and treated me as a regular pony...but not the public. I was treated badly and told I should just disappear. What did I ever do? As time grew by I looked up on the royal guards, they protected Equestria and the Princesses with their life. I decided I wanted to be a guard. It is unheard of for an Alicorn to be in the guard but I wasn't allowed to join. Frustrated on how I was treated I flew to the castle and demanded answers. Though during my episode I never realized what my magic was, this got the attention of Celestia. She watched my little rampage on the guards, I wounded several with burns from light and dark magic. The pain I was experiencing wasn't physical but mental. Before I could continue Celestia was able to stop my little rampage and have a small chat with me. She said I can play a role in serving Equestria which made me happy. She said I possessed the ability to hold a large amount of both light and dark magic without going insane. She offered me a job and I accepted it with no regret. In that moment my cutie mark appeared, two flames. One was white with beams of rainbow coming out of it and the other was purple with beams of black coming out of it as well. I was told to keep my existence a secret which I happily agreed. The only ones who knew of me were my parents and the princesses. I was given a secret chamber inside the mountain way above Canterlot. It was my new home complete with a bed, desk and kitchen. Food would be delivered three times a week and I make it myself. I've grown to be quite the cook actually! I bet ponies would love my cooking. My life was fairly simple really, Celestia sent me books and scrolls filled with both light and dark magic and I would read every single one. It's not like I have anything better to do in my spare time. I've spent fifty years guarding the magic and during that time I got bored. I took six bodies for my own purpose and gave them life once more, they were my eyes and ears for the outside world. I used them to travel and saw many wonderful things this land offered. No one suspected a thing on the bodies and I kept this act all the way till now. My arrogance on not hiding my magic signal has reveled my location. My time grows short now as I see ponies marching up the mountain toward the entrance to my chamber. No one can save me sadly, not my parents nor the princesses for they are the one who gave the order. Luckily Celestia gave me a valid reason to why she had to execute the order and through my loyalty I understood like the fool I was. Celestia doesn't realizes that if I die the my magic will be released and with all that is going on Darkness will reign supreme and corruption will follow. With my last effort I shall seal my magic into this scroll and send it to Princess Twilight. Your highness, please guard this letter and it's magic with it and above all learn from your teacher's mistakes. She made the right decision in pushing this order. Now as this letter finishes my body will lay restless on the very soil I protected for fifty years. Don't let our deaths be wasted nor forgotten. -Luminight ~~~ The sound of wood shattering and metal clinking on the floor filled Luminight's ears. She sighs as all her magic just finished being sealed away in the scroll. She payed no attention to the guards who readied their spears and spells all just to kill Luminight. The powerless Alicorn trots over to the delivery tube and inserts the scroll, her lavender eyes watched it travel down quickly. Her job was done, her role in Equestria was fulfilled. As the guards approached her she turns an flares her wings showing numerous tags with strange writing that was alien to the guards. Luminight takes a deep breath and smiles, maybe the after life would be better. As the tags ignited she closes her eyes awaiting death's embrace. In a second all she heard was a pop then silence. She felt nothing but the embrace of her parents.
