Source Code was enjoying a typical day in his hometown of Las Pegasus, when he received a letter from his biological father, who had passed on when he was young. The letter says that, now that he is of the age of stallions, he deserves to meet with his brother, that he never knew he had. The problem is, he lives in Appleloosa, where Source Code has never been. He eventually makes it there, and learns that his brother is none other than Appleloosa's own Braeburn. The two then decide to compete together in an upcoming competition, hosted by Sweet Apple Acres. But it gets interesting when another family member joins the gang, and a situation occurs where Source Code's Apple family membership is put to the test.
