Every society has its own mysteries. Far from the idyllic world of Equestria, a race of ponies has long marveled at the star that danced in their night sky, seemingly unaffected by the forces that move the rest of the celestial bodies. These ponies, spurred to faster progress by their unstable planet, finally sent a small mission to investigate the anomaly. What they found proved far more astonishing.

When they land in Equestria and discover ponies like themselves, neither civilization knows what to think. As some work to bridge the gap with the newcomers and others struggle with strange new knowledge, problems arise that threaten the good intentions of everypony involved.
