This takes place after Skylanders Giants and before Swap Force

The Skylanders Spyro, Cynder, Drobot, Bash, Flashwing, and Whirlwind are pulled through a mysterious storm and are pushed into an unkown portal in to Equestria. Now the six must join Twilight and her friends if they have any hope of returning to Skylands, but will they fail, due to new enemies keeping them from their goal or will they succeed and return home to help bring an end to the villinous Chaos . Join Spyro and the skylanders through many adventures and struggles as they learn about friendship and maybe something a little more.

Teen: for intense scenes, and for some language.

If you don't know what the Skylanders look like because you don't know who they are or never played the game there will be pictures od them at the bottom of the prolouge.
