After Fire Fists Ace's death at Navy HQ, Ace finds himself in a brand new adventure in a brand new world. He makes friends with some of the locals and even gains the trust of the princesses but how will he adjust to this new environment and how will he cope with the circumstances when he must face a great enemy that strangely reminds him of an old rival?

ch.1 Deaths Realm and the Drop

A realm where life doesn't exist, a dimension that has no sense of time and is void of life. Nothing exists here and nothing should. Yet somehow, one creature of human origin found its way into it. It lays there quietly and numb, as if it's in a deep sleep. Nothing happens for a couple minutes until it decides to jerk up, but its body is still numb so it couldn't do much.

"What the hell happened? Where am I? Why can't I move?" As all these questions passed through its mind, it immediately heard a voice calling for it. "Ace!............. Wake up!"

"Who said that?!" After a while of total silence he decided to try and move his body again, but only for it to respond slightly.

"OK Ace, it's time to backtrack. What happened and how you turned up... here." He said attempting to motion to his surroundings. After a couple of flashbacks, he realizes that he took an attack to the chest region trying to protect Luffy.

"OK.......... so I'm dead. Well I knew it was bound to happen eventually." He relaxed his mind some more when he thought: "Why is it so dark here?" He immediately tried to force out a spark of flames, but only managed to get a flame as big as a lit candle. He tried to force the flame to grow bigger, but only managed to keep it as big as a basketball. "Damn it, please work with me here!"

Making slow progress, he eventually made a big enough flame that could surround his whole body. It loosened up the numbness.

"There you are you beautiful spark of light. What is this place? It's like I'm in a dark room of sorts... but there's nothing a little light can do about that!" Ace gained enough flames to send a surge of it outwards and he does exactly that.

The area around him seems to be an endless void; empty of everything besides a surge of flames. "OK, I can do this, all I gotta do is find the blasted exit and a way back to the old man." After sending out waves upon waves of flames built up with energy; he eventually gave up and grew angry. "If there's no exit then I guess I’ll try to make myself one!"

Ace grew flames big enough to burn down an entire forest if he wished to do so but it shortly backfired on him. For some sort of heavy force was pulling him down and causing him to free fall into nothing. "What the heck is happening now?!" As he is free falls he slowly sees the darkness take on a surprisingly white color. "Alright… First a drop that seemed like it was lasting forever and now the room turned white. What else can go wrong?!" Bad choice of words for him, for at the end of the drop there’s a hole of some sorts beneath him. On the other side of it seemed to be a distant town. "I guess I found my exit." He said as he continued to plummet.

A couple hours beforehand, everypony was sleeping and was prepared for morning to come. As always, Princess Luna watches over them and makes sure every one of them have pleasant dreams. "Luna, may I suggest that you take a break for now? It's nearly morning." Suggested the large white alicorn beside Luna. "Sorry, but I can't rest just yet, I have a bad feeling about about tonight, I feel like something is very wrong here". After a short discussion, it was finally time for the sun to rise.

As the morning came, everypony was prepared to get their day started and we will start off with a lavender alicorn. "Good morning Spike. Are you ready to go with me to Canterlot? We have to go as soon as possible and I bet everypony else is just as excited as I am to see Celestia again."

Immediately after waking Spike up she heard a knock at the door, which could only mean her friends are all ready to go and are waiting for her to get to the station. She heads to the door and opens it to see all five of her friends carrying their luggage. "Hey girls, I'll be right with you, I just gotta get Spike and we'll be off." As they boarded the train, they talk to each other about how each others morning has been thus far. During one point of the ride, a pink maned and pink furred pony looked out the window to notice a large ball of fire spiraling towards Canterlot. "Everypony look out the window! There's a meteorite heading towards Canterlot! Or is it a meteor?! I could never really tell the difference, what do you guys think?!" Exclaimed the pink pony still staring at it in awe and horror. Twilight, disregarding Pinkie’s antics, quickly looked at the spectacle. She noticed that it became increasingly smaller as it got closer to the town. "Do you guys notice it getting smaller?!" She asked with worry clearly evident in her voice. They all panicked like deer and eagerly wanted to get to Canterlot as soon as possible, worry etching across each of their faces.

"Princess! We have an emergency, there's a meteorite like object heading our way!" As the guard spoke to Celestia with great horror, Celestia stood up and walked out to the balcony. She quickly noticed the marvel with her own eyes but tries to force it to a stop by using her magic just as quickly. The ball of whirling flames slowed down and quickly went out to show a creature of unknown origins hurling towards the castle at tremendous speeds. "What in the world....." She was quickly cut off as it smashed into the side of the balcony and went through the wall at its speed. When it finally stopped in the throne room leaving behind a crater in the middle, Celestia quickly went to examine the creature that just flew through the castle. She quickly noticed that it was badly injured, but she was still stuck in place as she stared at it. "What in the world are you? And most of all, how did you sustain such injuries when you should have burned up on the way here?" While she quickly asked all these questions, she heard a small grumble giving a short response."Shut up and help me already, my body aches like hell." It responded quickly before immediately blacking out.

After she got the response, she immediately called for a medic and took the strange looking creature to a nearby hospital. "We shall gladly take it off your hooves but we might have some problems getting it to heal since this is a creature of unknown origins." The medic explained.

"Do what you must, I want to ask it some questions when it's conscious." Celestia replied calmly.
