Beginnings of a Young Scholar

Meet MD Omniscient Chronicle, a foal prodigy in the field of practice of modern Equestrian medicine, and only fourteen years old and a member of the infamous Chrono Herd of Hoofington. His journey from a well-read, but naive, days as a foal prodigy surgeon, to the uncoverer of secrets so dark the Nightmare would have been pleased, to becoming the first of his herd in a thousand years to gain a title will be hard, but not lonesome. He will meet ponies and others that he never even dreamed of knowing. Friendships will blossom and die, but never will they be forgotten.

His uncovering of these truths start twenty years before the return of the Nightmare, but will he be able to handle those truths? Can he truely repair his herd's name, or will he become nothing more than a memory? Will he be able to face a darkness far scarier than the Eternal Night in the heart of ponies bent on turning Equestria inside out?

This tale is only a beginning to that story and more, for only time can truely tell.
