Apple Bloom is nearly complete with her apprenticeship. Her mentor, Wood Frame, is very proud of her work and the progress she has made over the years. But he struggles with certain feelings for his soon-to-be former apprentice, and whether or not if he should make them known to Apple Bloom.

Author's Note: While this story is a sequel to The Apple Blooms, it is still meant to stand alone. It is not necessary to read the first story, but I would still highly recommend that you do so.
