Tentacle Monsters
Don't go in the east corridor, they said
Load Full StoryA light green filly wandered the halls. Cherrycloud had somehow gotten herself lost during the tour of the mental hospital. She held her head high, knowing how rebellious she was being. Not just being lost, but she was in the east corridor. The nurse had said specifically, "don't go in the east corridor, there is a tentacle monster." Cherry flapped her mouth, mimicking the mares words, then giggling to herself. She sighed, and started dragging her hooves.
"Ugh, this is getting boring." She muttered, glancing around trying to find something to do. A foul smell filled her nose. "Eurgh, who farted??" She asked, looking around. When seeing nobody, she shrugged and continued walking around. Then the smell returned. She glanced behind her again, getting the same results. She wrinkled her nose and turned forward again, only to see a stallions face mere inches away from hers. "Whoa!" She sputtered, backing up, "I'm sorry about that, you came out of nowhere, eheh heh." She rambles nervously.
The stallion had a sickly green coat, that looked slimy and wet. The top of his head was bald, but his neck was covered in frizzy, thick, grey hair. He had no tail, not even bone or anything, just his clean rump. Cherry gave a large, awkward smile. His eye twitched. "W-Well hel-l-loooo theresss." He said, his eyes never leaving Cherry's. "I-I see y-y-you have g-gotten yours-se-self lossssstt." His eyes narrowed into slits, as he seemed to grow in size. The slime covering his body slid down his legs, forming claws at his hooves, and making all four of his legs longer. Tentacles began to be present on his back, as he grew and grew. His yellow, slitted eyes still never leaving sight of his prey. Soon his transformation was complete, and Cherry was about to pass out from shock.
The monster opened his mouth, revealing dozens of yellow, rotting teeth, all sharpened to perfection. "Letssss eeeeaaaat-t-t." He hissed, advancing. Cherry had had enough. She whirled around, shrieking at the top of her lungs, while the monster pounced at where she was a second ago. Cherry turned a corner, then another. Her ice blue eyes darting about, begging for some sort of escape route. She soon found and open door, and burst inside.
There was a stallion. He was a yellowish tan, with black wavy hair over one of his brown eyes. He looked up at her and smiled. "Oi! Estou tão feliz de ver um outro pônei! Eu ainda não vi nenhum dentro ... anos." Cherry nodded, shutting the door.
"Yeah yeah, I don't understand a word you're saying." She replied, making sure the door was bolted. Once satisfied, she stood to the side. Then the door burst in, flying straight toward the ~~poor~~ stallions face, crushing him flat. Cherry looked at the monster, wide eyed. "How did you..." She uttered, still staring at the beast in front of her. It whipped out a tentacle and picked Cherry up, who was still shocked at how it had burst in like that. A pink, forked tongue slid across its slimy lips. It then lifted Cherry over his mouth, and dropped her.
Then a gray and purple flash shot out, saving Cherrycloud at the last moment. The mare then landed with the filly in her arms. The mare herself had a purple hat on, with a single spike on top. She had a grey/blue dress on, and had a cutie mark of a diamond shaped rock. Cherry gasped. "Maud Pie! You've come to rescue me!" Maud looked at Cherry without smiling, then turned back toward the monster. She leaped up, doing a couple summer-saults in the air, then landing with her back left hoof in the monsters face. She brought her other leg for another kick, then pushed off, doing backflips, and landing perfectly on the floor.
"Its not nice to eat little fillies" Maud said, emotionless. She jumped up again, but flew even higher than before. She then positioned herself in a diving position, and fell toward the monster. The steep incline had made her progress even faster, and a cone of white was forming at her hooves. She then broke through the sound barrier, causing a grey circular wind thing to spread out in all directions, dozens of rocks following after it. After brushing rocks out of her coat, Cherry watched Maud punch the thing right in the face. Then there was another explosion. Green, sticky slime flew ever where. It was now on the walls, the floor, the ceiling. Even the part of the stallion that hadn't been crushed by the door.
Cherry wiped the sickly slime from her eyes, and observed the scene before her. She gasped, then shut her mouth when some slime got in it. "What... the... buck.." She uttered, trying not to get any vile tasting sticky slime in her mouth. She wiped more off her face. "Eugh" She added for emphasis. ~~"I really hope that Sugarush will get this crap offa me."~~
Now now , Cherrycloud. No breaking the fourth wall here.
Cherry rolled her eyes and continued to wipe slime off herself. "Yeah yeah , whatever." She muttered. She then stood up and began to trot toward the door, occasionally slipping on some slime and getting a bit in her mouth, causing her to gag at the awful taste. She then grumbled angrily and arrived at the door, waving to the stallion as she left.
Then he suddenly somehow spoke, "Ajuda por favor ..." But Cherry kept walking, thinking about her excuse. With a shrug she decided she may as well say something like, "I had to go to the bathroom, then I got lost. Not in the east corridor of course..."
