War now rages within Equestria, as the Gryphon empire try to topple the pony race. With soldiers hellbent on the destruction of Equestria, Princess's absent from the rest of their subjects, will the pony race be able to unite itself and fight back?

This story follows the lives of two key characters, on both sides of the war.

Lieutenant 'Slash': He is the main 'bad guy' of this story; hellbent on killing every single pony, and changeling in his way. He wants to crush Equestria under his foot, and rule them with an iron talon. He claims to be the best upon the battlefield, but does his word remain true? Will he get what he wants?

Captain Vel'cona: Drilling his soldiers was one of his prideful duties as he strove to train them to their very best. But today is the biggest test. Will he, and his squad flush their land from the evils of the Gryphon empire? Or will he fail?

With the entire country in turmoil, citizens and what is left of the military must band together to form a resistance to fight back. As one, they can push the enemy from their lands. But are they up to the task? Death, destruction, and misery will be big mountains to overcome, but can they do it?
