Chapter 1: The rise of Nocturne
As I enter Canterlot by demolishing the shield around it, I see changelings everywhere, and as soon as they see me they fly up ready to attack. I easily swipe them aside with my magic and make my way to the castle where Chrysalis is hiding. All that I know is that I must defeat her to save Equestria from her changeling army, yet that wont be hard for an alicorn like myself.
Entering the castle, I am shocked to see it is teeming with changelings who all charge at me with their spears raised, but I cast an illusion spell to slip by themwith ease, leaving many injured changelings behind me. My first idea is to search the throne room but I know thats easily a trap. "No.. That might be a trap." I say to myself as I continue on. "Mabye the kitchen? I may as well check the entire castle." I say as I start to look through the castle with speed trying to go as fast as I can to save Equestria again.
My search comes up in nothing, so I have no choice but to check the throne room. I create another illusion and send it into the throne room and, just as I suspected, A cage falls down, trapping the illusion. "Knew it. She is so predictable and easy to defeat." I say to myself as I enter the throne room aswell to see a shocked Chrysalis.
"But how?? Your in that cage!" She stammers out, clearly shocked.
I look up to face her, my turquoise eyes gleaming with antisipation. "Or am I?" I say as the illusion in the cage vanishes into a blue aura, returning to me like a boomerang.
The battle we waged was a long process of strategy and magics, but I eventually overpowered Chrysalis, having her on the ground, battered and worn out from the battle. I cancel my magic that made my Moonlight Sword, turning it inot blue essence that flies to me. "Have you had enough Chrysalis? Or do I need to show you another lesson on returning here, Hmm?" I say looking down at her.
"Mark my words Nocturne Eclipse... I will return again! Stronger then ever!" She yells as she flees with her army at her heels.
I chuckle as she flies away back to her home as I closely inspect the Throne room to see the Elements of Harmony under the throne in a chest. I open it and get the Elements out. "Time to return these to their proper owners." I say as I speed out, Just as Celestia and Luna awake from being knocked out.
Apon my return to Ponyville, I come back to see a massive party going on. "What's going on here?" I ask a young mare.
"Oh, We are celebrating the defeat of Chrysalis! Somepony took her out on his own and get the elements back!" She exitedly said as she runs to see her friends.
I go up to the podium and call out, "Everypony, May I have your attention please. I need to see the six ponies who own the elements of harmony!" I call out as the six emerge from the croud. I show them the recoverd elements and the crowd starts cheering.
"Oh wow! It was you who defeated her!!" Pinkie Pie said as she took her element from me.
"Good work, For a moonlight pony that is." Rainbow Dash says as she gets her element from me.
"I'll be dead honest partner, I didn't think you had it in y'all." Applejack said as she gets her element.
"Ummm... Thank you for saving us mister..." Fluttershy says silently as I give her the element back.
"Well I'll be, A out of fashion pony beat Chrysalis Single-hooved." Rarity explains as she gets her element.
"I would like to thank you for all you have done for us Nocturne Eclipse. On behave of Ponyville, I would like to say Thank you." Twilight Sparkle says to me as I place her element on her head like a crowning ceremony.
"THREE CHEARS FOR THE HERO!!!" Everypony yells as they cheer for me.
I step off the podium and return to my home, tired from another mission sucsessful, But I didn,t know that Nightmare essence had gotten into me as my mind starts to change to an evil mind.
Chapter 2: The shadowy comsume
It has been weeks since I had saved Canterlot from the evil changeling queen, Chrysalis and her changeling army from feeding on all the love in Equestria, Although the feat was a minor thing, the ponies would not leave me alone and they keep congratulating me for saving them although I tell them it was a minor thing. I decided to get a light lunch of Daisy sandwiches and Celery soup, and as soon as I stepped into the shop I was surprised to see Celestia and Luna talking with Twilight, obviously telling them about me saving them all, I tried to slip out silently but as soon as I turned around I bumped into a curious Applejack.
"Where y'all going in such a hurry? I thought y'all were here to see the princesses." Applejack said with a raised eyebrow, and to my luck, they heard her.
"Not now Applejack, I don't want to talk to them right now..." I say hastily as I fly off, leaving a trail of indigo with stars in it behind me, Leaving Applejack curious of my behavior on why i did not stay.
"Wow... Whats up with Nocturne? He's acting strange." Celestia says to Applejack with a questioning look.
"Wish I could tell y'a;; sugercube, but I don't have the answer to that." Applejack says to Celestia.
"We shall go after him and see what is wrong, we will be back sister." Luna says to Celestia before following after me.
How long have I been flying? Minutes? Hours? It's not clear to me but I know something is up if the princesses are in Ponyville, Obviously not here to visit Twilight because they would be in her castle, I decide to fly to the castle of the two royal sisters to hide out there for a bit, But is shocked to see Luna waiting for me there.
"Whats the rush Nocturne? You seem to be in a hurry." Luna says with a raised eyebrow.
"Sorry but I could not be seen there or Pinkie would throw ANOTHER party... They annoy me with the cause of around 20 parties this week... I'm getting tired out." I say as I yawn loudly.
"There is a bedroom in this castle you can rest in, And you may as well keep the castle as the Everfree forest is now safe from monsters." Luna says to me, smiling with a friendly look.
"Thank you Luna." I say as I walk off to the top floor to the bedroom. But as I walk up, a shadow begins to creep up my hooves and into my armor, Beginning the process of making me fully Nocturne Eclipse with his own mind of evil.
Prolude: The verge of the past.
What once was a beautiful, calm night in the Everfree forest had turned into a storm that cast a pitch black look to the forest, making the trees look like monsters in the eyes of a lone stallion. The stallion remained still as the steady rain fell all around him, drentching him in water as the pouring skys cracked with lightning. The stallion looked up and smiled at the sight of the lightning bolt that pierced the night sky. After a while, the stallion let out a long sigh as he started into his cabin to light a candle, revealing his cabin in a orange light, though the light was seen from the inside only. "It's time to look for that spell again." The stallion mutters to himself as he uses his magic to pull out a scroll from the shelfs. The stallion settles on his couch and starts reading it.
As the sunlight of the late afternoon pierces through the window into his just flickering eyes, he shields them and stands up. He leaves his cabin and goes for a walk into Ponyville, where the town seems to be in a panic. "What's going on here!!" He yells out as a mare with bright blue eyes skids to a stop in front of him.
"Oh thank Celestia your here Grayhoof! It's awful! The town is in ruins from the storm and the elements of harmony are gone!" The mare explained fastly as she looks in a panic.
"Calm down Skypaw." I say to her in a calm tone, "I'll find the elements of harmony and cast down on the ones who stole them." I say to her as I rub her head.
"Wait.. Whats with your eyes Grayhoof? They look like..." Her voice trails off as she looks into my turquoise eyes that were once a mahogany color.
"Nothing is." I say hastily as I break into a gallop towards the train station.
How long have I been running? I can no longer remember as I finally reach Canterlot. But i'm shocked as I see the capital of Equestria coverd in a deathly green shield. "Chrysalis.... Of course." I mutter to myself as I make towards the everfree. "I can't get in but if I make myself an alicorn I can." I say as I make haste towards my cabin.
"Though the nights last long and the time draws nigh... Grant me thy blessing to allow me to shield Equestria and save it once again." I say in a preaching like voice as a black mist covers me, Turning me into Nocturne Eclipse, Though others would think me evil my mind remains the same as I fly towards Canterlot to save the ponies of Equestria, But little did I know it would be my last time doing so... As this is only the beginning of Nocturne Eclipse.
