Twilight thought hard as she flew, following Evlar under an invisibility spell. The beings certainly weren’t paying much attention to their surroundings, because she knew that while she was clearly invisible to the unaided eye, she still cast a shadow.

She watched as Evlar and the other beings entered a sort of fortified city, with metallic guards flanking the entrance. Twilight somehow passed those guards with ease.

As she entered the city, Twilight looked around. Her mind was taking in everything she saw. After all, what does one do when encountering a whole new world?

Soundlessly, Twilight landed on what seemed to be a town square of sorts. She quickly followed Evlar through the city. There was no risk of bumping into someone at all. All that she needed to do was stay within a meter or so near Evlar’s group, for the crowd parted to let then through.

After some time of following Evlar, Twilight decided that she didn’t need to stalk him anymore, so she simply flew up to rest on a cloud. Or examine the city and it’s inhabitants.

Evlar took his seat at the middle of the council room. While he did have his own seat, he was the one being interrogated, and as such, he sat at the center of attention.
“The High is now in session.” Elder Alistair announced, banging the gravel twice.

Evlar sighed as he entered his quarters. It had been a long day for him, and tomorrow would be even longer.
“Hello, Evlar.” The winged unicorn said, as she suddenly appeared near the window. Instinctively, Evlar flung his blade at the source of the sound. A purple glow surrounded her horn, and the same glow surrounded his blade.
She yelped as she evaded the attack.
“What do you want?” Evlar asked.

“First of all, Evlar, I want to know where we are.” Twilight answered.
“We are in Bidari, in the planet known as Kimori.” Evlar answered, eyeing his sword. Twilight quickly saw what he was looking at.
“Don’t even try to attack.” Twilight warned/squeaked, as Evlar’s sword was lifted in her magic, only to disappear. “For your information, your sword is currently invisible, so you can’t see it.” Twilight added. “Now, what are you?”
“I’m a human being.” Evlar replied.
“B-but that’s impossible! Humans don’t have any magic!” Twilight exclaimed, disbelief showing.
“I think you mean ki.”
“But then how are you supposed to be able to attack me? And then why do you have so much magic in the crystal? None of this makes sense!” Twilight ranted. This place was getting weirder and weirder to her. She continued rambling, ignoring the world around her.

Right now, Evlar had half a mind to just call the guards, and another part of his mind had the idea that he should just search for his sword.
“Will you calm down?” Evlar snapped at the winged unicorn. She had been ranting non-stop for minutes, by now.

As if fate had just read his thoughts, a pair of guards chose that moment to barge into his room yelling, “Sir, we heard the shouting what-“ The guard stopped as he took in the weaponless Evlar, the winged unicorn in the room, and the clear abundance of ki.

Then, just like that, the winged unicorn disappeared into thin air. Evlar couldn’t help but grin at where the winged unicorn had last been seen. It had been a while since a guard had barged in a room panicking to find nothing. As in never.

“I am sure you have been imagining things. Now, go back to your posts.” Evlar watched as the guards saluted, all the while mumbling a quick and embarrased response.
“Alright, you can show yourself now.” Evlar stiffly said to what would seem his wall.

“Behind you.” Twilight whispered, flapping her wings to stay flying, manipulating the air around her to stay quiet. She was puzzled by the guards. They were all female.
“Why are the guards all female?” Twilight asked Evlar.
“They just look like that. In truth, all the guards are male.” He answered. “Now can I have my sword back?”
“No. One more question. What are you using to generate magic?”
“That’s common knowledge. My ki crystal. Now, my sword. I have things to attend to. Stay in my chambers, don’t wander around. I want to be able to find you. And I need your name.” After all, I can’t just keep calling you, well, you.
“It’s Twilight” Twilight said as she disappeared. “And I won’t stay here, there’s too much I can learn!” She proclaimed.
