Have you ever had the feeling that you were being watched? Like somepony, or something was hiding just out of sight watching your every move? An apple orchard has many shadows for the denizens of the darkness to hide. Especially those who mean to do harm. Many strange, unexplainable things seem to be happening to a certain indigo unicorn living on the farm. Can AJ discover the identity of this evil being that continues to torment him? Or will he be consumed by the darkness?

This is a non-canon spinoff of my main story "The Mystery of a New World." If you want to place it somewhere in the story it would be anywhere between chapter 21 and when he gets his cutie mark. Basically he has to be in Ponyville, as a pony, without his cutie mark. This is a grimdark story. If that turns you off turn back now. The idea for this has been in my head since before i started writing, and I've expanded on it quite a bit. This is also a bit of a test for myself to see if i can branch out to other types of stories other than the comedy/drama that i apparently do so well. Be brutal with your comments. I want to know if I did good, or if this just isn't my thing.
