This lonely world

The sun, as it just started to rise and Luna's moon now slowly sinking out of sight over the horizon. The bright light ignited the small train car, that was occupied by the 7 pony's waiting for their stop at Canterlot. Octavia was the first of the group to stir from her slumber. As her eyes widen and started to look around she notice her friends doing the same. The train came to a complete halt as everyone started to enter Canterlot there they were confronted by two guards.

"Hey move out of the way." Twilight looking at one of the guards with fury

"I'm sorry princess twilight, but I must tell u to wait for a Cart to bring you to the castle to see the princesses, they know that you are coming and we are ordered to take you to the castle to meet them. There is no time princess so don't argue and just wait."

With that said the group waited till the cart showed up they all boarded and was taken to the castle. When they got there they have notice that something wasn't right, the entire aura of the castle had an evil and cold feeling to it he 7 ponies couldn't put their hoof on it but something was upsetting.

"Now presenting from all the way from ponyville princess twilight, and the other holders of the elements of harmony, and vinyl scratch and Octavia."

There was a surge of emense gloom and an evil feeling was towering over the ponies who came to see the princesses. Luna and celestia was seated in their throwns and they had a grim look on their faces to this twilight was surprise because she never seen her mentor like this never not one time.

"Twilight you and your friends take a seat now, any seat will do."

With that every pony was shock and surprise by the way the princess just spoke but no pony dare disobey so they all calmly sat in different seats and waited for the princesses to speak. A little while had gone by and everyone was quietly not moving the silence was just killing pinky pie but the silence was broke

"You see! Look what you have done I have watch the young beast from the minute that brat over there hatch him from the egg and like you ordered me to; I haven't attacked, slandered, arrested or anything against the beast and look what has happen he shows a burst of outrage and he hasn't shown any sign of stopping".

Everyone in the room was amazed by the words that was coming out of the old pony's mouth but before anyone could speak the old mare was thrown across the room and was being forced to bow. Twilight looking around the room to look for who was doing this to the old pony discovered it was princess luna who's horn showing a dark and empty feeling of magic flowing from her horn. Then stopped and with an cold and emotionless tone.

"Look here my nephew has came across and overcome many challenges from you and other ponys across equestria, he was just given the worse thing that life could throw at any pony. I would love to see you have this happen to you and see how you would act." Luna had an emptyness feeling in her tone as she looked down on the old mare who was in fear.

"As you can see unlike my sister I don't have any trouble putting ponies like you in place, my poor, poor sister she is suffering a pain no one who is a mother should have to watch her child in pain this is a horrible feeling to see my sister like this".

"Princess Luna? Why is princess celestia like this?" Twiilight who just broke the conversation was trying to hold herself from going into shock from what Luna have just said.

"You do not know? I mean it's YOU! Come on twilight you should realize why she is like this you are like her child also so please don't act so shock."

Suddenly everything came back to twilight the memories of when spike and her was younger and spike and twilight lived with celestia and celestia treating them like her own kid. The images jw tarted to make twilight cry remembering every memory and hard ship they as a family over came. Remembering all of this started a surge of anger and rage at rarity to come over twilight making her go numb as this happen twilight walked over to celestia and placed a hoof on her.

"I know it's been a really long time but mom I will get spike back for us don't worry I won't fail you mom. Just rest when you wake up spike will be with us again." With that said twilight rose up and walked over to luna

"Auntie?"

"You haven't called me that before twilight is there something you need my niece?"

"I want you to put a sleeping spell of celestia please for me I'll ask my brother and princess cadence to leave the crystal empire  or at least my brother to come and guard the castle while the mom is alseep."

"Will do twilight but what are you gunna do?"

"I'm going to find my brother and bring him home".

"Yeeee-haaaaa you said it twi and we got your back us girls can..

"No applejack this is a job only I can do spike is my brother besides that you have the other elements of harmony if we lost you then the land would be defenseless if we lost one element then.

Suddenly twilight was slapped by pinky pie who main was down showing she wasn't her usual self. The usual pinky pie while her puffy hair and happy expression was replaced by a frown and straight flat hair.

"Twilight sparkle! Do you really think we as your friends will let you do this alone? What in your right mind makes you believe we will just let you walk put of here of to the middle of celestia knows where, to find spike where ever he may be it this moment. We are your friends the 4 of us have been through think and thin. We battle and traveled together did none of that mean anything to you?"

Twilight was shook back by the words and meaning that cut deep into twilights heart and mind but twilight knew she couldn't think about it any longer

"Pinky in not leaving you here so I can be a hero or do prove something I am keeping you guys here just in case if spike comes home and to watch out for something I have a feeling rarity isn't done hurting spike"

Pinky knew twilight had a point so with out arguing nooded in agree me

"But u have to pinky promise that your going to come back with spike and make sure he knows how much we all love him."

Twilight smile and promise with that twilight started casting a summoning spell but got interrupted

"There's no need to call for me princess twilight sparkle" discored softly spoke from across the great hall in the throne room

"How did you know I was going to summon you?"

"I had a feeling that I was needed that and flutter shy over they sent a bird to find me and said she was in trouble. So I came as fast as I could."

Looking over at fluttershy who was blushing and almost crying " I thou- though we were going to need him because he knows how to track well so"

"Thank you fluttershy your a kind friend" spoke twilight as she turned to face discord who was smiling for some odd reason

"Discord we need you to"

"Find your little dragon, well not so little anymore but you need me to find where he flew off to."

"How did you"

"Have your read the news papers going acrossed equestria? Every pony knows what has happen to spike and to be honest I don't blame why half of equestria is looking for rarity to mess her up. But enough of that I'll need to help you for fluttershy sake now, your dragon has flew into the ice regen close to equestria for some odd reason but all I know is that he has stopped moving for the time being."

"Thank you discord if I need"

"There's no need I'll send you a crazy bird letter if he moves from where he is oh and another thing." Discord threw a small necklace towards twilight who was stunned and confused by this weird gift." It's a gem eater seeker or dragon finder. If a dragon is close it will shine bright so you don't have to worry except if you find another dragon that isn't spike but oh well you need to be off I hope you do find your dragon twilight I'll be in touch."

"Discord I need a favor"

Discord who is tooken back by this small question looked at the pony "a request what do you mean?"

"I need you to stay and protect equestria since I'm gone it leaves the land defenseless almost so plz can you?"

Discord pondering on this question smiply nod yes and turned to flutter shy "let's go fluttershy and go have tea and clam down come on"

As discord flutter shy and the other 3 ponies left back to ponyville twilight notice two ponies where left

"Octavia and vinyl you guess can"

"Ohhhhhhh no sister we are coming with you spike maybe your brother but he is our close friend so we arnt going no where until we find him and drag him home." Vinyl burst out against twilight

"But what about your concerts and fans and your music?!"

"Your highness music is my passion like vinyl's but when we were both young our teacher taught us one thing. True musicans always followed their hearts and souls where every they feel they are needed in music or life. So I don't care for my music at this moment or anytime soon as long as spike needs me I'll come running to help him."

Twilight couldn't argue with those deep and emotional words that was just spoken instead she smiled and motioned that they all should get moving not knowing they won't be seeing equestria, ponyville or their friends in a very long time
