Two days before the Magical Mystery Cure
Twilight was sitting on her bed reading a book.
Spike was downstairs beside the shelfs cleaning the books.
The sun was starting to set over Ponyville and Twilight had always loved watching the sunset over Ponyville, it was one of her favourite things to do without having to read a book about it.
The mare had been sitting at her window for a few minutes now, and Spike was just beginning to walk up the stairs with a pile of books in his hands.
" Uh, here's the delivery of twenty new books Twilight." Spike said, just reaching the half-way point on the stairs.
Twilight waited a few seconds for Spike to arrive in front of her with the new books that she had been expecting from Princess Celestia.
Spike had just hauled himself up the last step, then dumping the pile of books on the ground for Twilight to read. The mare put a small smile on her face, Spike knew she had the book that she was looking for.
Book Of Spells For Fourth-Grade Unicorns
Twilight quickly flicked through the pages to see if it was the one. That one book that she asked for in the library and it was out of stock. That one book that Princess Celestia has promised last time she had visited Ponyville.
This little mare had got what she wanted, and this little mare is now jumping around the room with excitement.
" Happy much?" Spike asked, only regretting what he just said because he might have just spoiled Twilight's happy moment. Twilight was speechless, or she just completely ignored that fact that Spike had just asked her a question.
Twilight sent Spike back downstairs to leave her in peace to read her new book, but it was getting late and she was getting quite tired. So Twilight decided it was time for a rest and she could read the book tomorrow.
Spike turned round and suggested that to get a good nights sleep, she should leave the book alone until the sun rises.

One day before Magical Mystery Cure
Twilight had just woken up after a long nights sleep, Spike was still asleep though so she could get out her book of spells and start learning. There was a lot of pages in that one book, One Thousand Three-Hundred and Fifty-Five pages were inside that book. But Twilight was determined to finish the book so she could learn every thing that she needs to know.
Twilight opened the first page and read out loud,
Stage One,
The basics of long teleportation and distance levitating
"Ohhh, this looks good!" Twilight said to herself, making a rainbow-kiss face to the wall.
Spike had woken up now, and he didn't look too happy at all.
" Um, Twilight? Didn't you say you wouldn't read the spell book until at least the sun rises?" Spike asked scratching his head and trying to keep a mild smile off his face.
" Spike! It wasn't me, it was you!" Twilight shouted, she wasn't too happy with Spike at all. "And, what time is it?" She added, giving even more things for Spike to think about. She asks questions like there's no tomorrow. But really?
Spike turned round and replied to Twilight's question.
" First off, I did say that you didn't touch the book until the sun rises. And secondly, it's three in the morning!" Spike was starting to get angry, so he dived back into bed and went to sleep.
Ok then Spike, I'll fix the time.

One day before Magical Mystery Cure
Twilight put the spell book down and went back to sleep, she had no idea that it was only three in the morning. She went to sleep quite quickly, and Twilight knew exactly what she was going to do the following morning.
Just to let you know that Twilight is still asleep just now, I'm just going forward in time...

The day of Magical Mystery Cure
Twilight had just woken up to see the sun rising over Ponyville like it does every morning. She went downstairs and opened her door.
" Morning in Ponyville shimmers" She said, putting a smile on her face. Today was going to be a good day.
" Morning in Ponyville shines" Twilight continued, prancing and dancing about the front of her treehouse.
" And I know for absolute certain, That everything is certainly fine!" She said, this was one of her 'good morning' songs for the rest of Ponyville.
Twilight ran back inside to get Spike, but he was still asleep. So the mare just pulled him out of bed and put him on her back. Twilight trotted outside and went down the path to the market.
She had arrived at the market, and was walking past looking at all the stalls as she went by. There were fruit, vegetables and all other sorts of thing that you would find in a pony market.
Twilight had reached the last stall, it was a very dark blue tent with nothing really there. The mare scratched her head. Why would that be there? There was only supposed to be new stalls tomorrow.
Twilight walked up to the tent and went inside. It was quite a dark room inside, until a candle was lit at a table on the far end of the tent.
" Well, you must be looking to buy some of my items young mare." A voice coming from the table said, it didn't sound very promising at all to Twilight.
"Well, um... I was actually just curious about why this tent was here" She replied to the voice. Twilight began to walk closer to the table.
" Well, anyways take this." The voice said handing a round container to Twilight.
10:30 Hrs
Ponyville park
Day of Magical Mystery Cure
Twilight was sitting on a bench in the park, looking at the strange container that had been given to her.
She had no idea what it was and what she was to do with it. Spike was asleep when Twilight went in the tent, so he had no idea about what was going on.
" Why don't you drink it?" Spike said, rubbing his eyes and then sitting up. Twilight turned to look at Spike and the turned to look at the strange round container that was in front of her.
" You know what Spike" Twilight said, with her horn starting to glow. " It's for the best" She lifted the container and opened it carefully. The sound of something cracking surrounded the area.
Before she took the container to her mouth, she read the red text on the front of it.
" Well, it looks safe enough for me Spike" Twilight said, raising the can to her mouth.
Twilight began to drink from the can, from Spike's point of view it looked like Twilight was enjoying it. After a few seconds, the entire thing was gone. Every last drop.
19:00 Hrs
Middle of Ponyville
Just after Twilight had fixed her friends' cutie marks
" Twilight, you did it!" Pinkie Pie said, jumping around with happiness.
" Great job! That was so twenty percent cooler than anything else!" Rainbow Dash shouted, patting Twilight on the back.
" Without you, we would be like that forever" Fluttershy said, keeping her head low to avoid any eye contact.
" This, ah gotta hand it to yah Twilight. Without ya, I would still be makin' those dresses!" Apple Jack exclaimed, bucking the closest tree to her.
" My goodness Twilight, you well and truly did it!" Rarity squealed, getting ready to faint on the floor.
It was all happy, fine and well on the way back to Twilight's library. Until they got inside...

After the Magical Mystery Cure
Twilight had came inside and gathered everpony around to talk.
" Okay everypony, time to put the elements ba-"
ZAP!
Just then, all the magic from the elements of harmony were shooting out the necklaces and going onto Twilight.
Seconds later, Twilight was gone...
Somewere Over The Rainbow
" Were am I?" Twilight asked, she was floating thought the air and seeing nothing but stars twinkling in the sky.
" You did it Twilight, well done." A voice said, it was Princess Celestia and she was coming closer and closer to Twilight.
" We always knew that you would pass the test.." Another voice said, it was Princess Luna and appeared right next to Twilight.
" It's time..." They both said, and right before Twilight was the same type of can that he had drank earlier.
" This can had a special meaning, though self- discovery, you have completed your mission." Luna said, raising the can to moving it to Twilight.
" Read what it says.." Princess Celestia said, flying closer to Twilight who was trying to make out what the text said.
Red Bull Gives you wings
" I don't get it.." Twilight said, looking at the can still very confused.
" Wait a sec, I ge-
Twilight just stood there, looking at the can. Then Luna stepped forward, quickly opening the can and spraying the contents at the unicorn.
20:25 Hrs
Middle of Ponyville
Twilight has just came back from the 'place'
Twilight couldn't see for a few minutes, but when her vision cleared.. she was back in Ponyville, right in front of her friends to see her come back.
" Twilight! Ah was so worried 'bout ya!" AppleJack exclaimed, running over to Twilight.
" It's so nice to have you back, darling! Where have you been?" Rarity said, carefully trotting over to Twilight.
" I-i I really missed you Twilight" Fluttershy said, gently flying over to join in with her friends.
" Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! Twilight, you're here!" Rainbow Dash shouted from a cloud up above, then zooming down to also join the group.
" Group hug PAAAAAAARRRRTAAAYYYYY!!!!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, finally becoming the cheery-on-top of the friendship-cake.
There was a big giant hug from everyone and then Twilight turned to everyone,
" It's so nice to be back, wherever I was, but there's something funny on my back and I can't get them off..."
Twilight stood up, with her friends surrounding her. Right before all their eyes...
Twilight Sparkle was now an Alicorn Princess...
