It's Twilight's birthday, and her friends are throwing a surprise party. Twilight turns 16 years old and the mane 6 haves some fun at the party. But ever since Twilight turned 16, odd things had changed in her world and life. She sees everything as crap, and her friends don't want to hang out with her anymore. Once she was alone, the tree of harmony loses it's power. Twilight sees it, and runs in panic trying to find her old friends. But she sees them all having a party at Pinkie pie's place. Twilight gets really depressed that her friends doesn't like her anymore. Even the princess doesn't want her in the castle. You will find out more when you read this sadden story.

Happy birthday Twilight!

Twilight walked into the dark tree house until she saw a surprise. "SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TWILIGHT!" Everyone shouted. Twilight blushed.

"You guys.." Twilight said. Her library was decorated with balloons, streamers, and there was a banner on the wall saying, "Happy 16th birthday Twilight!" She was 16 today. Twilight was getting older. Everypony she knew at her party is there. Her best friends, Trixie, Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Shining armor, her parents, Applebloom, Sweetie belle, and Scootaloo.

"How is our favorite alicorn??" Pinkie pie says, jumping out of nowhere in front of Twilight.

"Wow Pinkie, you did a great job on my birthday party." Twilight said with a smile. Whenever Pinkie was there, Twilight would always smile.

"Thanks Twilight! Are you ready to light the candles on your cake?" Pinkie asked with a smile.

"Ok." Twilight replied and went over to the table where Everypony was sitting down. Rarity puts 16 candles on the birthday cake. Spike then lighted all of the candles with his fire breath. Then Everypony started singing.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Twilight, Happy birthday to you!" Everypony singed. They all cheered, while Twilight blew the candles. Everypony clapped and then Everypony gave their presents to Twilight. Applejack was first giving her present.

"Here ya'll go princess!" Applejack said. She gives Twilight her present. Twilight unwraps the present then opens it. It was a cowpony's hat. Twilight smiled with tears in her eyes.

"Thanks Applejack." Twilight said with water in her eyes. She hugged Applejack tightly. Applejack smiled and walked away. Next it was Rarity.

"Here you go darling!" Rarity said giving her Twilight's present. Twilight opened Rarity's present to find a beautiful blue dress.

"Oh Rarity, it's beautiful! I love it!" Twilight said hugging rarity. Rarity smiled.

"I'm just glad you love it dear." Rarity replied. Next it was Fluttershy. She flew up to Twilight and gave her the present.

"Here you go Twilight, it's a little something I made for you for your birthday." Fluttershy said. Twilight opened Fluttershy's present and finds a handmade flower crown. Twilight puts it on her head and smiles.

"Thanks Fluttershy I love it!" Twilight said happily. Fluttershy smiled.

"Angel helped me put it together, right Angel?" Fluttershy asked then looked at her Bunny Angel. Angel winked. Next it was Rainbow dash.

"Here you go birthday pony! I got you something awesome!" Rainbow dash said. Twilight opened the present to sees a picture frame of Rainbow dash and Twilight. Tears filled Twilight's eyes. Then she hugged her.

"Thank you Rainbow dash, your the bestest friend I ever had." Twilight said while hugging her. Rainbow dash blushes.

"Aww shucks." Rainbow dash says. "Your my bestest friend of all." Next it was Pinkie pie. She bounced next to her with excitement.

"Open mine, open mine!" Pinkie said happily. Twilight giggled then opened her present. Inside, she finds the book she always wanted: "The Hobbit."

"Oh my gosh Pinkie, I always wanted this book! How did you know?!" Twilight asked in excitement. Pinkie giggled.

"I just know, you silly Twilight." Pinkie said while giggling. Twilight smiled at Pinkie and gave her a hug. Discord came up with a huge present.

"Here is something for this lovely alicorn princess Twilight." Discord said. Twilight looked at the huge present. Then she opened it. Inside was a large screen TV.

"It's a large screen TV, now you can watch your favorite shows on there if you have nothing to do!" Discord says happily. Twilight smiled.

"Thanks Discord! I love it." She says with a smile. Twilight then hugs discord. Discord starts blushing a lot, then flies away. Twilight's parents comes up to her.

"Happy 16th birthday honey." Velvet says cheerfully. Twilight hugged both of her parents and smiled.

"What did you get me for my birthday?" Twilight asked.

"We brought you something special." Night light replied. They both got out a table with a cloth covered up on it. Then they lift the cloth over, and Twilight's eyes water. It was a mini statue of herself. Twilight didn't know what to say, and she almost began to cry.

"M-m-mom. D-d-dad, thank you.. thank you so much!" Twilight said in tears. She gave a great hug to her parents.

"You're welcome sweetie!" Night light said calmly and hugged her daughter back. Finally it was Trixie's turn to give Twilight a present.
