Twilight took off, sprinting for the wall at an angle, and hit it just right. She planted one foot upon it, swung up her other in a circular motion, and her torso spun fully in the air; her guns remained trained on the werewolves the entire time. Unloading a fiery hailstorm of bullets while in midair, she shouted like a true warrior, and two of the five beasts fell haphazardly by her hand, pumped full of lead. She came out of the aerial and fell to her feet, with Rainbow quickly coming up at her rear.
"Duck!" Rainbow called; Twilight instantly obeyed, bending her knees forward and leaning back as far as she could go, dropping her twin Uzi submachine guns. Rainbow's hand got stuck for an instant while taking her magnum out of its holster, but it gave way, and two of the remaining beasts managed to each take a separate corridor leading off down another hall. One beast charged, foolishly headlong at her, teeth bared and snarling, so she raised her gun. The titanic sound of the shell going off made her flinch, but her bullet flew true, striking the monster in the right shoulder and causing it to drop, rolling clumsily onto its side.
It tried to get up, clutching the area of the bullet's penetration in agony, and Twilight quickly got to her feet as well. She got another running start and somersaulted over the painfully roaring beast, pulling out a silver blade nearly half a foot in length, and planted her black boots firmly on the stone floor behind him.
"Rainbow! Now!" Twilight moved the blade to the distracted monster's front and drove in the tip. She could have easily drove it into his back, but she knew this would be more effective. The wolf attempted to strike her, swinging his clawed hands wildly, but thanks to Twilight's adept reflexes, she remained unscathed.
"Got it!" Rainbow responded, jumping into the air; Twilight swiftly got out of the way. Extending an athletic leg and tucking the other, Rainbow's boot found the hilt of the blade and began driving it deep, piercing it through the beast's hide in one fell swoop through bone, cartilage, and muscle all the same. A glorious rain of blood escaped the blade's exit point, and she used what remained of her momentum to plant both feet on the monster's chest and kick off, sending him careening backward and herself performing a neat backflip.
The werewolf fell back with a calamitous 'thud' and yelped one last time before taking a final, dying breath, the hilt of Twilight's blade protruding triumphantly from its solar plexus. After Rainbow landed, both girls took a moment to stand comfortably; the immediate danger had been taken care of.
"Where did you learn all of that?" Rainbow asked, taking a peek back down the long tunnel; she quickly spun out the ratchet of her revolver to check all of the cylinders. "Three left..." she mumbled.
"Oh, you know," said Twilight, stomping on the beast's chest and extracting her blade with a sickening sound. "Celestia's School for Gifted Mercenaries."
"That joke again?" Rainbow rolled her eyes, rolling another silvery round in front of the hammer. "Well, wherever you learned it from, it was pretty hot."
Twilight wiped the blood off the blade using the side of her black, leather jacket, and placed it back in her chest sheathe. She gave a cursory glance over to her guns, empty from all the previous fighting, and decided to let them go, instead choosing to close the distance between herself and Rainbow.
"Oh yeah?" she asked lowly, eyeing Rainbow's lips. "Well, you were pretty hot, too." Without much hesitation, Twilight began sifting her delicate fingers through Rainbow's multi-colored hair and brought them subtly to her neck, before forcefully reeling in her girlfriend for a deep kiss.
Rainbow relinquished herself, quietly holstering her revolver in her belt loop and moaning into Twilight's mouth. Three dead, bloody wolves lie scattered around them, as a testament to their undefeated fighting prowess. Something about the stench of their enemies' blood brought them closer together
They had fully embraced now, wrapping their arms around each other's tight waist and soft neck, whimpering sweetly through their noses and passionately sucking face. Their hands began to move southward, reaching further than was probably necessary, but they didn't care. They were both getting equally riled up, as per the usual when they went out on their weekly bounty hunting for the Canterlot Corporation.
"RAHHH!!!" There came the familiar noise of a wolf's hefty roar from far off in the castle, and they suddenly stopped.
Rainbow was the first to break the kiss, gazing into Twilight's starry, violet eyes with a tiny smirk. She took a hand off of her waist and placed it back on her revolver, but Twilight gave a light pout in response.
"Don't worry," Rainbow flashed her trademark grin. "We'll get em', and then I'll finally take you out on that date I promised."
Twilight victoriously clenched a fist, raising it to eye-level. "Yes!"
"But first," Rainbow began carefully stepping over the bodies, "we have to go collect our bounty. Let's go, Twilight."
Twilight instantly grew more serious, pulling out her spare M9 and loading a fresh mag, keeping it low and pointed at the ground. She followed Rainbow's lead for once, getting a little tired of always running the show, and though the castle was dark and only lit by a few stray rays of moonlight, they had a pretty good idea of where the beasts were hiding.
"Alright," Twilight agreed. "But it better be a real sushi restaurant, Rainbow."
"You got it, egghead."
Fin.
