Tears of a party pony

"Cheese Sandwich is in hospital" were the words Twilight announced to Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy.

"It seems he took an extreme fall when using his party cannon at a party in Fillydelphia and has broken his neck!".

There was a feeling of upset and worry as the five friends shuffled awkwardly around each other, a silence of sorrow settling upon the atmosphere with every passing moment. Until a question that had plagued the minds of each element of harmony (excluding laughter) was asked;  "how are we going to tell Pinkie Pie?" (the one asking was Rainbow Dash, who would often bury her emotions deep inside). AppleJack decided she would get the unsuspecting pink mare to come to Twilight's library and tell her straight.

"Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii everybody, what did you want to tell me?!!!!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie who was now standing on top of a once neat pile of books.

"uh, Pinkie pie we have some bad news for ya sugarcube, Cheese Sandwich is in hospital with a broken neck" AppleJack sighed with tears in her eyes. Instantly the Element Of Laughter's hair deflated like a dejected balloon and she galloped out the library shouting "I need to see Cheese!!!"
