Chapters Author's Note
This is a short chapter. The other ones should be much longer. I didn't use the dialouge from the show because I didn't want to be copying. It just didn't feel right. This was inspired by a show from LaserPon3.
Defeated
To this day, I think about my big mistake. Those one thousand years of my life, I'll never get back. I've also learned so much in that time. I mean I helped two fillies in their dreams. I still remember how it all started.
I'm enraged by the ponies sleeping through my lovely night, while they all play and enjoy my sisters daylight. I become so jealous that I want to kill my sister.
"Luna! You MUST lower the moon!" she shouts at me.
"No Celestia! You always have the fun! Now it's my turn!" I shout as I raise the moon even higher.
Just then I transform. I grow sharp teeth and my mane become a light, indigo shadow. I finally feel like I have what I deserve.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha!" I laugh manically.
"Luna! What has become of you?!"
"Luna! Who's Luna?! I am Nightmare Moon."
Little did I know, my good feeling was soon going to end. That I would become trapped on what I raised and lowered every night. That I wouldnt be able to return for one thousand moons. Little did I know I would be in pain and actually miss my sister. I decided to end my sister once and for all.
I start shooting blue beams at her to try and kill her. She keeps moving. I finally shoot her down. She gets up and I see her get the elements of harmony. I feel that she cannot defeat me. Was I wrong! She shoots a golden beam from her horn, as I shoot a blue beam at her. I try as hard as I can to defeat her.
"Come on! You can defeat her! You MUST defeat her! You must defeat the elements of harmony. Just a little harder." I say to myself in confidence. Then I see I'm losing and I'm hit with the golden beam of light.
"No! No! Nooooooooooooo!" I shout as I'm shot upwards.
"Ouch!"
I land hard on my back on a hard, rocky surface.
I slowly get up and look around in shock. My teeth and mane shrink back down to normal. I realize I'm on the moon. I look down on Equestria.
"No. No. No no no no no no no no no NO! This can't be happeneing!" I shouted with my eyes wide.
"She BANISHED me!" I shouted my eyes wide. I start to get tears in my eyes.
"Why? Why me? Of all ponies, my sister had to banish ME to the moon! I mean, sure, I just tried to kill her and bring eternal darkness, but she doesn't understand! NO PONY UNDERSTANDS!" I shout as I start to sob.
Marvelous Sights and No Way Out
After a while, I wipe away my tears and look around.
"There's gotta be a way out of here. Maybe I can fly away." I try and fly away, but there's a force field keeping me from escaping.
"I'll try teleporting." I try and teleport back to our castle in the Everfree Forest, but I don't go anywhere.
With lost hope, I slowly sit down. I start crying my eyes out. I'm so frustrated, I start kicking the ground, still sobbing. After a while, I calm myself down. I stand up and decide to go explore. I see caters, craters, more craters, and rocks.
I feel so lonely. I try not to regret what I've done. I'll only feel worse. I didn't want to admit it to myself, but I missed my sister. I missed the subjects of Equestria. I was now going to be alone for one thousand moons. Or at least that's what I thought. I look up at the dark, space sky. The sight of the stars helped me forget the pain a bit. I tried to make out the constellations. Celestia and I loved to do that together. I saw planets.
Even though I see wonderful sights, I'm still alone. I get food and water from my magic. Unfortunately, I can no longer raise the moon. At least until I'm free. I'll to find something to do. I enjoy looking at the stars and planets. I occasionally see a shooting star and a few times a comet. My eyes light up as I see these marvelous sights. It's helping me forget about Equestria.
"I want to get revenge on my sister. I want to get revenge on Equestria. I need to think. How can I get my revenge? I've got it!" I say to myself happily.
Author's Note
I understand the chapters are short and may be boring. I'm trying my best. I hope you like. This is not the end. This is only the beginning. This is only my second fanfic. You have any bad comments or tips, please be nice about. Dont be rude, like with my other fanfic.
"When I'm finally free, I'll capture Celestia. Then I'll spread eternal night throuout Equestria. My subjects will have to bow down to ME! Yes. I'll finally rule! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" I shout excitedly.
"No pony understands. My sister got all the love. I got nothing. Just ponies asleep. Watching them play only in my sister's light is painful. IT'S JUST NOT FAIR!" I shout angrily.
I'm starting to get tired. I find a huge crater and sleep in that. It's a little chilly and uncomfortable, but I guess it could be worse. I fall asleep awaiting for my escape.
It's now been five hundred years since I've been here. Its been the same routine over and over again. Eat, explore, watch stars and planets, eat, and sleep. Today is special. Today I see a shower of falling stars. It's so BEAUTIFUL! The hot, glowing, sparkling shooting stars makes me smile so wide, and I'm watching in awe.
When that's over, I'm tired so I fall asleep. I dream about being loved by every pony. They all bow down to me. They play in my night. My sister is crying. I'm happy to see her in pain. She deserves it after what she's done to me. When I wake up, I see Jupiter a few feet away from me. I stare at it. I see it's giant red spot. I go on with the same daily routine for the next one thousand years, seeing the occasional meter shower, comet, shooting star, or planet. Wake up, explore, sleep.
Today has got to be one of the best days of my life! After being stuck on the moon for one thousand years, I can finally escape. I feel myself rising, getting further and further away from the moon. Suddenly, I find myself in the canterlot castle. I see Celestia walk in. I suddenly cast a spell and trap her. I send her into the Everfree forest, where she's frozen until somepony can defeat me. I head to Ponyville to "greet" my subjects. Just because I'm on the moon, doesn't mean I don't know what happens in Equestria. I'm right above it every single night.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here? It's been a long time subjects. I suppose you were expecting the princess. Well, you now have a new princess! I hoped you all enjoyed the sun. Because you'll never see it again. Ha ha ha ha ha ha." I shout happily at the ponies.
"Nightmare Moon." says a light purple unicorn.
"You remember me." I say with a nasty grin on my face.
"Do you know why I'm here?" I ask with a nasty grin still on my face. She couldn't give me an answer.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" I laugh.
Some guards come towards me. I shoot them with lightning and I get them to move back. I become a cloud of indigo smoke and float away.
After a while, I go to a library tree. I'm still a cloud of Indio smoke. I see the light purple unicorn from before and 5 other ponies. She was telling them about the elements of harmony and about me and how to defeat me. I hear they're going to the Everfree Forest to fin the elements of harmony. I follow them there. I'm sure you know the rest. That's my story. Well, time to raise the moon again, an I've never been prouder.
