After a large outbreak of monsters from the Everfree Forest, guards were stationed around the forest, and only those with a permit could get within 15 feet of the forest. Having one of these permits, Crimson Wing was eligible for a job gathering fruit from the trees at the edge of the forest, but this took him too close to evade the dangers that quite literally changed his life…
