Nothing.
“Captain MacDougal, please respond!”
Minevera cracked her eyes open. She heard her communicator calling for her several times now. Her body was slow to movement. Something felt very wrong to her, but the cobwebs in her mind kept her from thinking about it.
Slowly she moved and tapped her badge, “M... MacDougal here. What happened?”
“Happy to hear you, Captain,” Spoke Judsai from the other end. “During transport something interfered with the annular confinement beam. Hearing you should be a sure sign that you're alright, sir.”
Minevera tried to laugh, “I'll let you know about the rest of the team momentarily. Stand-by.”
She laid back down and slowly began to notice her face was pointing in a direction most humanoid anatomies would find uncomfortable after a while. The fog in her mind began to clear out as all feeling in her body slowly returned. Still numb she tried standing up, but found it was easier to balance on all four of her extremities which made it all the more confusing.
“Good you're finally awake. I was beginning to wonder if you'd sleep all day like Rainbow Dash,” the voice of Discord chided from behind her.
“For your information Discord, there was something wrong with...” Minevera trailed-off as she turned to look at him only to see part of why her body felt odd. Sticking out from directly behind her was a black and white tail.
And she was covered with white fur with a wolf's paw print on both flanks.
“What the...!?” Danny yelled.
The Captain glanced over and took notice of his appearance. Just like her, he was standing on all four limbs and had blue fur. He kept his brown hair, which matched his tail, and had a picture of a hypospray on his flanks. What really surprised her was he was equine in shape, save for a horn protruding from his forehead.
Nearby Tthass and Violeta began to regain consciousness. His body did not seem all that different, but it was with having spines going down his back and having a thick tail. She kept her blond hair and was given a reddish fur coat with cross-hairs on her rear. What protruded from her sides...
“Are these wings?” Violeta asked confused.
At least all their uniform jackets were still intact, sans sleeves.
Doing her best to keep calm and from letting her anger boil-over Minevera asks, “Discord, what did you do?”
Discord chuckled before explaining, “Remember how I said I'd take care of your disguises? Well I figured why not do the next best thing and turn you all into Ponies... save for the big guy there,” he casually gestured to Tthass who grunted in annoyance.
Minevera moved to demand that they be changed back, but relented. He did say he would take care of things, and this would be more convincing than a holo-emitter. “At least that would explain what happened during transport.”
“Yes, more mention of your little toys. Speaking of...” Discord opened a hole out of thin air, rummaging around before presenting three sets of saddle bags and one backpack, each embroidered with the Starfleet Chevron. “I've taken the added liberty of storing your doodads in these bags along with some bits that you may need for your stay. Don't ask where I got them from.”
The shared glances between the three crewmen and their captain were enough of a confirmation not to pursue that line of questioning.
“We better start heading east if we're to reach this 'Ponyville' before nightfall,” Minevera stated as the group began to make their trek.
As they walked away Discord stifled a chuckle and commented aloud, “That's what I like about you, Captain. All priority while on the job. Though I know your playful nature will come out, especially if you run into them. And I know you will.”

Captain's Log: Supplemental
After checking back in with the Acca Larentia and ordering radio silence we continued our walk. As we neared the town we found ourselves in, I'm guessing, an apple orchard. I suspect things will only get stranger through our stay.
The group of four weaved through the trees as they got closer to town. The mid-afternoon sun slowly making its way westward. Though none of them would admit it, their transformation was well on their minds.
Violeta then began hovering off of the ground, too distracted by the aforementioned thoughts and following her captain to even notice what was happening. She was roughly five meters off the ground before anyone really noticed, particularly herself.
“WhaAAA- OOF!” was her reaction from looking at the ground then meeting it a split second later. This was soon followed by an “ow”.
Danny, being the only medic available, quickly attended to Violeta. He pulled his medical tricorder¹ out from his saddle bag and began scanning her. Familiar or unfamiliar territory health was paramount. “What happened?”
Violeta steadily got up. “One moment I'm in the air and the next...” she trailed-off and just stared at Danny. Particularly the tricorder that was enveloped in a magical aura that he was supposedly holding and his horn.
Minevera cautiously approached, “Lieutenant, mind telling me what's going on?”
Danny was not sure what she was talking about before actually looking at his tricorder. His eyes widened in surprise and the device dropped to the ground. “Was I doing that?” he asked no one in particular.
Tthass, having been quiet throughout this trip, finally broke his silence. “If I were to hazard a guess, Doctor, I would say 'yes',” he said before picking it up in his claws and finishing Danny's medical scan for him before putting it back in the bag. “As for Lieutenant Bogue I'd say she was flying.”
“Flying?” Violeta asked still confused.
“Seems perfectly reasonable, Lieutenant,” Minevera stated. “You do have wings after all. As for that little trick with the tricorder there, Doctor, it's probably telekinesis of sorts.”
The two crewmen mulled over this new information, but didn't have long as the sound of galloping hooves approached the four.
Tthass was the first to take notice, “Captain, I don't think we're alone anymore.”
