The door of their shared abode floated open in a halo of jade-green magic, and Lyra merrily trotted through.  The door gently clicked closed behind her as she passed the living room.  "Hi Bon!" she called out to Bonbon, who was watching television from the sofa.  Bonbon glanced over at Lyra, and waved.  "Hi, Lyra".  Bonbon yawned.  Lyra trotted up the stairs and into her bedroom.

Lyra closed her bedroom door.  She grinned, her eyes shifting to and fro as she opened one of her saddlebags with her magic.  She giggled giddily, as a Paul figure, of My Little Human renown, floated from her saddlebag clutched within the thrall of her magic.  The blister package crackled open and the figure alighted upon the top of her computer desk.  The empty package floated into a waste-paper basket.  A second Paul figure floated out of the saddlebag and into her closet, where it would remain unopened; a pristine collectibe.  She levitated her saddlebags from her back, and they collapsed in a heap at the foot of her modest bed.

Lyra looked upon the new miniature guardian of her home computer system approvingly.  "Hee hee heeeee... Paul is best human," she gushed, and turned on her computer.  The magical innards of the machine whirred to life, and a silver mirror-sheened fluid flowed up onto the black, rectangular, enchanted glass surface of her display monitor.  The mirror fluid crackled and crystalline patterns glowed, solidifying across it, before an image resolved within it; her desktop background, a photograph of ponies running in last year's Running of the Leaves.   Spread across the image were various desktop icons.

Lyra moved her trackball, and double-clicked on an icon on her desktop labelled "Firefoal".  An internet browser opened up, and she navigated to an online chat host.  She signed onto a network and clicked on a room called #MyLittleHuman, logged in with her online identity, 'Suzie_Q'.

* You are now talking in #MylittleHuman

Yo.

Hi Colonel!

Hey man.

Yo wat up Colonel

Someone should write a fic about that, about humans watching My Little Pony... hee.

Hi guys.

Then Y don't U write it, Suz.

Yesterday's epiosode was a BLAST.

I can't WAIT for next week's episode.

Yeah Suz, you write it.  Have you done any fanfics?

Have you guys read the synopsis yet?

Huh, I guess I could try... nope, haven't tried writing yet.

Yeah Suzie give it a shot!

Next episode synopsis?  Sauce?

Okay, I'll give it a try.  I'll see what I can come up with.

But I'm not writing any clapfics!

Lyra pondered the idea thoughtfully.  A story about her favourite character being a 'My Little Pony' fan and writing a fanfic about it.  She giggled.  But what kind of story would he write?  A knock on her bedroom door interrupted her reverie.

"Lyra?" Bonbon said.  "Are you hungry?  I'm putting together something to eat."  Lyra WAS feeling a little bit peckish.  "Oh uh... yeah!  I'll be right down, Bon."  She listened to the floor creak, and hoofsteps descending down the stairs.  She stood and walked to her bedroom door, paused, and looked back at her computer desk.   Lyra's new Paul figure levitated in a green glow, and then floated behind the desk, out of sight... just in case.  She wasn't quite ready to be open with her roommate about being a 'humare' just yet.  Satisfied, she went downstairs to eat.
