Twilight Sparkle, a young, studious and noble student, who spends most of her time at The Academy, was asked to meet with Celestia to discuss about an assignment that she has for her to do. The assignment, was for Twilight to go to Ponyville to meet with a few ponies there and discuss on how to capture a horrendous killer beast known as the "Equestrian Ripper." A creature who abducts ponies, harvest their organs and occasionally puts the victims on display. When she arrives to Ponyville, she meets with Applejack and others who'll be helping in catching this killer beast. What they do not know, is that the very monster they are pursuing, is actually one of their own kind. Specifically, somepony they know.
