Twilight’s coronation after party was amazing. After greeting the dignitaries the Mane 6 wandered over to the buffet. Twilight and Rarity had strolled off to the gardens behind the castle where they could have some peace and quiet away from the noise.
“Oh Princess you look positively radiant! I cannot recall ever having seen such glorious wings! I trust you’ll permit me the honor of designing some adornment for them. I’ve always thought it such a shame that Princess Celestia never wore anything to show off hers, though I can certainly respect her decision.”
“That's you Rarity, as soon as somepony gets something you want to give them something to make it even nicer. And as far as I’m concerned the title princess belongs as much to you and the rest of my friends as it does to me. I’d give up the crown, the title and everything else for your friendship.” Twilight gave the snow white pony a hug.
“Damn you Twilight Sparkle, you’ve made my mascara run again” Rarity said with a sniff and a little laugh. “But for you it’s worth it.”
Twilight gave her another tearful hug. As they parted they noticed that the rest of the Mane 6 had joined them. Applejack spoke up -“So Princess, what’s your first official act?
“Uh, well my cider is getting low here," interrupted the cyan colored pony "- see what you can do about that, princess.”
All 6 laughed
“In a minute Rainbow.” The new princess replied.
Twilight looked around at the 5 ponies that faced her. Her expression changed, her whole demeanor, in fact, did. She straightened and her eyes became clear. She looked at each of them, one at a time with solemnity. Each of them became aware that this was nothing to laugh at, this was serious.
Twilight bowed before them.
“I, Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Equestria, as my first official act, do hereby, irrevocably and of my own free will, solemnly pledge to each of you, my friendship and love forever, no matter what the future may hold. You may call upon me at any hour of any day and I will do everything within my power to help you and to be worthy of your love and friendship. So I swear.”
All that could be heard was the distant sound of revelers enjoying the party.
This silence was broken by a very emotional voice.
“You may rise Princess Twilight.”
Princess Celestia stood there with her sister Princess Luna, both their cheeks matted with tears. The five ponies, surprised to see them there, began to bow. The two princesses waved their heads, indicating it was not necessary. The ponies obeyed and stood.
“I will have the royal master of records enter that upon my return to the castle.” The regal midnight blue pony said.
Each of the 5 ponies stood with tears in their eyes and looked over at Applejack, who despite her usual stoicism looked more emotional than any of them. Their expressions were clearly prodding her to speak. They all bowed before the lavender pony along with the two sisters.
“We hereby declare…” her throat was tight and her voice broke “that all 5-“
The two sisters cleared their throats
“…that all 7 of us...”
Applejack’s voice shook with emotion and Twilight, seeing each of the 5 of them mouthing the words along with Applejack, could not keep herself from openly crying.
“…pledge to you now and forever, Princess Twilight Sparkle of Equestria, our hearts, our minds, our backs, our loyalty, our love.”
“So we swear” said all 7.

Once back at the party the 6 of them danced, sang and hung out, talking to ponies, re-telling stories of their adventures, laughing at some of the crazy predicaments.
Zecora bought a beautiful handmade vase she’d turned herself on a potter’s wheel.
“Twilight Sparkle, you are so dear to me
This humble gift does not do justice to thee
It does have a magic you will soon find
When you drink from it, it will clear your mind
When you find you’re confused and unable to think
Pour in water...”
she looked at Applejack and smiled
“...or cider and then have a drink.
You will find yourself calm and your vision will clear
But it’s only for crucial situations my dear.”
She bowed and presented the beautiful gift.
“Oh thank you Zecora! I love you too! It is so beautiful!” Twilight placed it at the center of the gift table and embraced the zebra. It’s simple elegance attracted Rarity immediately.
“That is simply amazing Zecora! It calms one just to look at it.” The white pony gushed.
“You are quite sensitive to art so I see
Though that should not surprise me Miss Rarity”
“Thank you Zecora! Would you consider coming by my shop? I would love your advice in some batik designs.”
“By any measure, it would be my pleasure!” Zecora raised her glass and she and Rarity toasted it.
"Hey Princess!”
“Hey Rainbow, what’s up?”
“Why don’t you mind it when I call you princess?
“Because the way you say it, it, it makes me sounds like anything but!" They both laughed and walked over to get their mugs refilled. “So what did you want?”
“Oh yeah, come over here..” The cyan pony steered Twilight toward the back of the large upper gardens where they ducked under the branches of a weeping willow.
“What’s with all the cloak and dagger?”
“Ok Twi, here’s the drill. You have wings now and they’re really awesome and all that but there is one part of them that you need to know about.”
“Uhhh, I think I have an idea where this is going.”
“Right – the wing boner.”
Twilight rolled her eyes. “Dash! It’s called an erection and I know all about them. We learned about them in school when I was 14.”
“Yeah well studying about them and having them are two different things.”
“Uh-huh. I think you’re over complicating this a bit.” Twilight’s voice adopted a singsong tone of boredom
“When Pegasi become sexually aroused during the courtship ritual the pectoral muscles and wing muscles fill with blood and glycogen causing them to stiffen and become erect.”
She took a swig of cider. “I read where with a little self control it isn’t a problem, which in your case explains why they’re such a big problem. Fortunately I’ve got a little more self-control.” She looked at the cyan pony and shook her head. “Any chance to talk about sex, I swear Dashie!” Twilight rolled her eyes again.
“As always you’re right Princess.” Dash said and strolled over to Twilight. She smiled at her and stroked several highly sensitive areas along her wings. Suddenly Twilight’s eyes flew open and her jaw dropped.
“Ohhhuhh..”she moaned, closing her eyes. “fuuuuuck” Her wings quickly became fully erect.
Dash stood with a very self satisfied expression on her face. “I might be off base here buuuut I don’t think that’s any way for a Princess to talk. By the way, you should see your face. Wait, are you panting?? You must have gotten a real sensitive pair”
“What did you DO??!!” Twilight’s chest heaved and fell. She clenched her legs together and let out another sigh.
“Just stroked a few new areas of your anatomy. But it’s no biggie for you Princess Self Control. Just shake it off…” Dashie said with a smirk.
“Sweet Celestia, I’ve never felt anything like it!"
“Want me to do it again?”
“What am I going to do about this!!?” asked Twilight with more than a little desperation.
“Ohhh Princess, come to Dr. Dashie!” said Dash with a wicked leer.
“I don’t ever remember feeling this…”
“Horny?”
“If horny was a bear then we’re talking Ursa Major”
“Look at your wings”
“What?”
“If you walk out there with that massive wing boner every pony with wings will think we were in here making out.” Rainbow Dash obviously thought there was nothing funnier, she was laughing so hard she couldn’t catch her breath.
“This is not funny Rainbow!”
“Are you kidding me?! Your first official public act as Princess is to sneak off with the hottest mare in Equestria and make out? That’s rich!”
Twilight's turned toward Dash, her chest still rising and falling, her nostrils flaring slightly and her sweet, worried expression changing into something predatory, though it was clear that food was not the objective. She grinned at the cyan pony and raised an eyebrow. “If everypony with wings is going to think that anyway Dashie" she took a crouching step forward, "then let’s give ‘em something to talk about…”
“Oh now wait a minute princess, it isn’t like I’m not open minded and all and into taking risks and you do look kinda hot with those wings, but Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are here!” Rainbow Dash started to back up.
“And Princess Twilight is here!” she continued to stalk her prey. “Do I need to command you to finish what you started?” The look in Twilight’s eyes was frightening but Dash found herself starting to get turned on. The right corner of her mouth turned into a horny grin and she leaned forward.
Suddenly Applejack was there with three mugs. She shoved one into each of their hooves. “Drink up ladies!”
The two ponies looked at her, then at the drinks, then at each other. They leered, licked their lips and not breaking their lustful gazes, drank.
Immediately their wings began to retract, though they pulsed with their heartbeats as they did so. Applejack watched. “Looks like I made it just in time.”
Twilight looked up with a sheepish grin. “I was bluffing… You know that right? I was only kidding…”
“Surrrrrrrrrrre you were" Dash nodded slowly. "Hey it’s no biggie, I’m awesome, you’re hot for me, what could be more natural?”
“Looked pretty serious to me” Applejack said with a smirk
“Oh you’re just a boatload of help!” Twilight retorted. “What was in those drinks?”
“It wasn’t what was in them, it was where they were from.” Applejack motioned beyond the drooping veil of leaves. Zecora was wiping out the vase she’d made. She turned toward Twilight and winked. The princess went red with embarrassment.
“Thanks AJ, but I had the whole thing under control” said Twilight “that really wasn’t necessary.”
“If you say so, sugarcube” replied the honey orange pony
“Yeah, if you say so, Princess Purple Pervert!” Dashie laughed and patted Twilight on the back. ...and then let her hoof trail down the entire length of her wing. She smiled and trotted out from under the willow’s branches.
Twilight's eyes closed and a whimper escaped her mouth followed by another shaky “ohhhhhhhhhfuuuuuuuuuuuuuck”
Applejack’s eyes flew open.
Twilight’s eyes slowly opened and she looked over at the worried blonde pony. Her eyes were deadly serious and her grin left no doubt as to what was on her mind.
“Who needs Dashie when I've got the pony of my dreams right here... my beautiful Applejack, my beautiful, beautiful Applejack…”
“RAINBOOOOWWWW!!!!!!!”
