//-------------------------------------------------------// A Shooting Star -by DicePony101- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// She Isn't Normal //-------------------------------------------------------// She Isn't Normal Fluttershy hummed softly as she trotted down the dirt road that led to her cottage. Normally the shy Pegasus would be scared because it was dark, but Discord had been extremely helpful and gave her night vision.  Though she had told him it was unnecessary, she now liked the fact she could see in the dark. As Fluttershy walked, a shooting star passed through the night sky.  Fluttershy smiled as the bright orb zoomed across the sky.  When she was smaller, her mother told her that the stars were ponies, and the shooting stars were their way of commutating. Of course, she didn’t believe such a thing; it was just nice to think about.  Fluttershy’s thoughts were interrupted by a loud explosion that came from the direction of her cottage.  Scared the cottage had caught on fire, she began running at full speed, praying her animals and Discord were alright. Finally, she stopped in front of the cottage, her eyes wide with shock as she stared down at the source of the loud impact.  There were small light flames around a large crater near her cottage.  But it wasn’t that that shocked her.  In the middle of the crater was Discord leaning over what looked like a filly. From what Fluttershy could tell, he was checking her pulse.  She flew down there was stared at the filly in disbelief.  The young pony was an alicorn.  She had a wavy blue violet mane and tail and a white coat.  Her eyes were tight shut; dirt caked her coat and mane, along with leaves and twigs stuck in her tail and mane.  Around the filly’s neck was what looked like a green bandana? “What happened here?” Fluttershy asked, her eyes never leaving the filly.  Discord shrugged in reply, placing his paw on the filly forehead, his eagle claw holding a stethoscope.  After a few minutes, Discord picked up the filly and stared at Fluttershy for what seemed like eternity.  “She’s not normal.” he said quietly, not sounding like his usual self. Fluttershy nodded and told Discord to bring her inside.  As they trotted inside the cozy home, Fluttershy stared up at the night sky. “I’ll have to see Twilight in the morning...” she mumbled softly, taking one more glance and at the crater where they found the filly, and trotted inside. The sun rose above the forest and birds began to sing in those sweet voices of theirs.  The light hit Fluttershy’s face and her eyes slowly opened.  She yawned loudly and suddenly her eyes shot wide.  The filly! Fluttershy raced down stairs and sighed with relief when she found the filly snuggled into Discord’s fur on the couch. ‘That’s strange’, she thought,’ she wasn’t there yesterday.’ Discord glanced over at her with a blush on his cheeks and looked back down at the filly.  The filly yawned and her eyes slowly opened, revealing them to be an emerald green.  The emerald eyes shot open when she realized that she wasn’t in her starry home anymore. “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!” she yelled and hid behind Discord’s tail.  “Oh, boy.” Fluttershy mumbled.
