Stuck in time
Chapter one: Meteorite's story
Previous ChapterNext Chapter"Hey princess! Come join us in tag!" A colt yelled over to a filly with red hair and a white coat, bearing red eyes as well as a horn and wings, making her an alicorn.
"Um mabye later Starsung. I need to think about something important." The filly known as Meteorite said to Starsung as the colt shook his head and darted off. Meteorite sighed with relief as he ran off. "Phew... That was a close one, doesn't he know I cannot be bothered with these childish games... I am a princess after all, being daughter of the king and queen." I mumbled to myself as I took a walk towards the castle, as I neared somepony dragged me in. "What's going on here!? I demand to know!"
"Shhhh, daughter, be at ease, but you must stay inside as we are about to be attacked by the mercury ponies again." The king said to me as my red eyes stared up at him.
"Dad... Why do they attack us?" I asked with curiosity in my red eyes with some tears welling up in my eyes at the thought of all my friends dying from the mercury ponies. "Why can't they leave us alone?"
The king shook his head and muttered something I did not catch but replied to me, "Princess and daughter, they attack us for our materials and our pure substance. That is why they come annually. But I am sending you to a distant planet for you to grow and mate. Please my daughter, stay safe while not under my eyes of protection." The king said to me while holding me up and carrying me to a meteor that was wide open. He put me in it and have me his farewells. "Stay strong hon, please stay strong." Was all he said before closing the meteor and sending it off, but the last thing he heard from it was a shrill scream, "DADDYYYY!!!!!"

"That's all I remember of home." I said to my friends around the table as I burst into tears and started crying badly, but the Doctor came over to me and say next to me while I dried into his chest.
"Shhh it's ok Meteorite, you have your friends here now, please don't cry princess..." The Doctor soothed me with his words but my face was still covered in tears, he looked down at me and smiled, "You are alright young mare Meteorite, please don't cry."
"Thank you Doctor, but my home is ravaged and gone with me as the last survivor of my planet and of my whole race, I'm just so alone..." I said to him, feeling more open to talk to him.
All of my friends said at the same time in perfect sync, "Meteorite, those who feel down are lost in time, never feel down but stay positive to those around you and yourself." They all said as I smiled and got to my hooves to go outdoors.
