Time Turner has been doing his job and doing it well since the beginning of Equestria, going to ponies whose time has come to an end, and taking them to the afterlife, be it the good one or the…not so good one. His Cutie Mark says it all - an hourglass, representing the passing of time that a pony lives on this earth.

While it is not unusual for Time Turner to sometimes go a while with his only work being taking old and aged ponies to a well-earned rest, it comes as a genuine surprise when he suddenly finds himself with eight whole days in which nopony is scheduled to die. What exactly is the Grim Reaper pony supposed to do during an eight-day long vacation?
