Dipper is not coming back this time

Dipper POV (point of view)

It was a very cold snowy day me and Mabel my twin went back to Gravity falls for X-mas. In summer we had done so much stuff we wanted to do more in winter. I was in my bed cocooned in my blankets like a caterpillar. I looked at the clock it was 7:45 it was time to get up I saw Mabel charge through the door dressed in her shooting star sweater and like 5 other sweaters under it.

“wake up Dipper its snowing out” I let out a grown.

“I am not going outside right now” I replied as I Mabel lay down at the end of my bed like a puppy.

“b-but you said you would play with me” she whined as she lifted her head up.

“I said I would play with you I did not say when” at that she jumped off my bed on her own.

“I am bored please can you play with me? I want to build a snowman” she whined.

“fine.” I said which I regretted as soon as the word left my mouth she was bouncing on me.

"get up, get up, get up" she repeated as I fell from my bed.

"calm down" I said getting up and putting on some warm on as I took one step out I found a snow ball hit me. I looked up to see

Mabel lying with a little hill of pre-made snow balls next to her. I saw a little snow hill and kicked it at her she was shocked as it hit her face.

"oh IT. IS. ON..." she did not get to finish as me and Mabel were being attacked with a lot of snow balls.

“get to cover” I yelled as we ran but out of nowhere the ground beneath me turned slippery as everyone gasped. the lake was closed

from ice skating because it had not frozen completely I panicked as I slipped into the center of the lake I heard a cracking noise as the ice began to crack.

“MABLE…” I yelled as the ice gave way under me I felt the cold water pull at my skin i pulled up against the underwater current. I

soon found myself face to face with the ice I panicked as I ran out of breath. I let out all my breath as I saw Mabel running towards me she tripped and fell.

“Dipper” she yelled as she looked down at the ice we were face to face as I started to go numb my energy leaving me as the water pulled harder as I fell into the darkness all I saw as I blacked out was Mabel yelling at me.

Mabel’s POV

I yelled and cried as Dipper started to sink I started to punch the ice when suddenly I was picked up and taken to shore by a teen I looked up.

“Wendy?...” she looked down at me as I noticed she was crying as well. I blacked out as the bitter cold got to me.

///after a hour of sleep///

I woke up to find myself in alone in my room I looked up to find a bandage on my head. As I went down stairs I heard everyone talking.

“Mabel lost some of her recent memory who should tell her?” Stan asked unaware of me on the last stair.

“I say you do you are her Great-uncle” Wendy replied with a dry tone ‘what are they talking about?’ I wondered as Soos spoke up.

“why don’t we tell her together” I went up stairs as I lay in bed I wondered what was going on?

///a hour later///

I did not know I had fallen asleep but I must have because I was awoken by not just Stan and Soos but also Wendy.

“Hey what’s up?” I asked starting with what I thought was a easy question but all of them looked away “where's Dipper?” I asked relieving who was missing from this group.

“well you see...” Stan started only to step back and push Wendy in front this was bad.

“dude do you remember the lake and yesterday?” Soos spoke up I thought back.

“ya I remember me and Dipper running and then it get’s fuzzy but I remember him running by the lake.” I answered which made everyone sad as I tried to put the pieces together they just did not fit.

“he you know what Wend, Soos I think I should tell her alone” at that they all left except him he sat at the end of my bed holding something blue I looked up.

as Stan told me everything about Dipper running only to find himself on the lake the ice cracking him yelling my name me running on the ice and the worst bit about him drowning.

“NO IT CAN’T BE” I yelled at the end crying “DIPPER IS NOT GONE...he can’t be”

at that Stan handed me his hat it had ice on it it was the only thing that Wendy could fish out before she picked me up I held it close to me crying more.

///two weeks until christmas eve///

I got up it hurt every time I moved I grabbed Dippers book and read it well wearing his hat I never took it off it was all I had left of him except the journal. After what felt like hours I found something that caught my eye a page with a picture of ponies.

“The my little pony characters have power beyond this world they can be summoned by different stuff depending on the pony you want." i read aloud. "Twilight a alicorn of magic summoned with star dust” I looked at her picture and wanted her she was a alicorn of magic that means she can bring Dipper back. So I got up and left for town where one person I knew would have the stardust that I wanted no needed.
