It was now four years since Fluttershy's and Discord's beloved day of marriage, and so far both had lived up to their vows. In both sickness and health, they had stuck together like inseparable glue! If you in Ponyville you could often see the two walking side by side. Now that he was getting used to walking like a normal pony, Discord's legs had began to grow out in adaptation. Although he was now almost used to walking, sitting, ect. on all fours, Discord still had a quite long body, as he always had and will.

Currently, the two were now more happy than ever. In Fluttershy's hooves lay a new born filly, which took after both its mother and father. The baby was a filly, with Fluttershy's pastel coat and deep red eyes, which had a girly pinkish hue to them. The filly also had grey circles around her eyes, obviously from her father. Unlike Discord's though, they were perfectly even sized. Her mane was Fluttershy's mane pastel pink with dark grey streaks through it. The color of these streaks were Discord's zebra mane color, as she seemed to have adapted both parent's vibrant colors. Ironically her tail was a zebra's; dark grey with pink streaks through it, the exact same colors in her short mane. Style wise, the filly's mane had her "bangs" looped over to one side like her mother, and all her hair ended in one big, soft curl. Her hooves and ears were gradient; they went from Discord's grey to the butter color she mainly was. Lastly, her wings were flared with blue at the tips coincidentally same color as her father's pegasus wing. There was seemingly no colors that didn't come from her loving parent's. Overall, she was perfect; the happy couple didn't believe she could turn out like this, all gradient and simply beautiful; not chaotic in any way.

Fluttershy, after getting a good look at her child, looked up towards Discord. "So, honey, what should we name her?" the tired pegasus asked.

Discord, also snapping out of his trance, looked with thoughtful eyes at his beloved wife. "Hmm..." Discord thought for a moment. "Butter? No. Nark? No. Song? No....Element? No. Fluttershy the second? No. Magic? I don't know about that... Element of Cuteness the third? Nope. Harmony?-"

"That sounds like a good name," Fluttershy interrupted. "I mean, she does look like a little angel, doesn't she? A little angel of Harmony..." Fluttershy looked down upon her said sleeping angel.

"My my, looks like we've got a winner!" Suddenly a ding ding ding! noise sounded, and Discord beamed.

"Well then, Harmony, welcome to the world..." Fluttershy joined her husband and grinned.

Unfortunately and fortunately -if that makes sense- the gentle silence did not last, for one confetti blast later and there was the entire rest of the mane six/seven to congratulate them! Pinkie smiled ear to ear as Harmony's eyes opened in surprise.

"SURPRISE!" Pinkie cheered as soon as she saw Harmony's eyelids fly open. The rest followed behind, all curious to see how the tiny filly looked. To their surprise, what they saw was not what they expected, and they all gasped in awe as Fluttershy opened up her arms slightly wider for her friends to see.

"Oh my, I never thought she look this beautiful, darling! Congratulations to you both!" Rarity exclaimed and dramatically put a hoof over her heart. "Oh whatever is her name, darling?" Rarity faced the pastel pegasus.

"Harmony, her name is Harmony!" Discord answered before Fluttershy had a chance to open her mouth.

"Harmony?" Rainbow asked. "That sounds...cool." Rainbow commented. Discord was surprised to hear no insults. Maybe little Dashie here had changed over the years, Discord thought.

"Yea, it suits her! I don't really know why, but it suits her!" Pinkie cheered, and Harmony giggled. The tiny newborn had a pure, beautiful voice even smoother than her mother's; even louder and more complete.

"Aw look at that, Pinkie, you made her laugh!" Spike observed, and waggled his finger in front of his face, making Harmony eyes follow it everywhere it went. She opened her mouth, revealing small, sharp canine teeth. Spike immediately took his finger away.

"Yikes!" Spike yelped while Discord laughed."Hey! What's so funny?" Spike asked, annoyed.

Discord looked down, eyes gleaming bright. "I never thought she would have my canine's. You can't really see it because of my-er-fang, but as a draconeqqus myself, I've got to have my lil' pointy chompers. See?" Discord smiled wide, and turned so Spike and the others could see. He licked the teeth with his snake tongue, making the tooth gleam.

"Whoa..." Spike murmured, as Discord's teeth were in fact very sharp, despite his being thousands of years old.

"But don't worry," Discord said, his attention now back to Harmony as he gently took her out of Fluttershy's hooves. "I'm pretty sure we won't bite." Discord played with his daughter, making her giggle as he cooed; it was heart warming to see Discord show so much affection towards his new born daughter.

"Ah think Ah can agree with you, she don't look like much a troublemaker at all," AppleJack gave a defiant nodd and wrapped her arm around Rainbow Dash. The two had begun dating only about four months ago, and seemed like they were going to last as a couple. 'Hmph,' Discord would always think. 'Who knew?'

"But Discord," Twilight butted in, and Discord looked up. Was she going to lecture him about having to be careful with Harmony? He hope she wouldn't. "Since you would probably be the one to know about this, will Harmony lived eternally like you and Princess Luna do?"

This question caught Discord off guard. Discord thought about it for a moment, glancing down at his little Harmony every moment or so. "I'm really not sure, since she's half pony and half draconeqqus, I think she'll just have a longer lifetime and age more slowly as she comes to her adult years..." Discord frowned. "Though sadly, I have a good feeling that both of us will outlive all of you... Discord looked up at Twilight, then down at Fluttershy. "Well, maybe Harmony will outlive most of you...but I..." Discord sighed, and a long silence filled the air. Discord looked down again at Harmony, keeping his eyes locked on the filly. Everypony felt sympathy for the draconeqqus, knowing that he will most likely face many heartbreaks later on in his eternal lifetime.

"I'm sorry, Discord," Twilight said quietly, though it seemed loud in the dead-silent room. Discord slowly nodded.

"It's...fine. I'm not the reason we're all here..." Discord slowly replied and started fingering once again with his daughter. Although Harmony giggled as Discord tickled her, Discord still looked a might bit depressed.

Feeling sympathetic for her husband, Fluttershy stretched up and hugged Discord tightly. Pinkie, also wanting to cheer the draconeqqus up, did the same. Soon enough, everypony in the room had Discord in a tight embrace of peace and, ironically enough, Harmony.

After a few minutes, Discord finally blinks the verging tears from his eyes. "Thank you," he murmured, and they all broke apart. Twilight gently patted Discord on the back in reassurance. Pinkie gave an it'll-be-okay smile. Rainbow and AppleJack exchanged looks of pity. Even they had to admit, if they had to go what Discord had to go through, they wouldn't be very happy being reminded about it either. It was just...sad.

Finally Discord handed Harmony back to Fluttershy, and the timid pegasus settled back on the hospital bed once more. Taking a deep breath, Discord sighed. "But you guys are all right, it'll be okay. Living eternally can have it's...benefits, so to speak." Discord looked down to meet all of his friend's faces and smiled weakly.

Wanting to sneak in a good laugh, Rainbow smiled slyly. "And what do YOU mean by benefits?" The rainbow maned pegasus smirked, and the group burst out in a fit of hysteric snorts and giggles within a minute.

Meanwhile, the nurse, Lytic Cycle, made her way in. "Oh! My my, what happening here?" Lytic asked, surprised.

The laughter eventually died out, and Lytic Cycle kept staring confusedly at the group. Her eyes were demanding an explanation of some sort with the way her eyes shined in confusion.

"Oh, is something wrong, Mrs. Cycle?" Fluttershy asked worriedly as she met the nurses's gaze.

"Oh, nothing." the nurse eyed the group one more time before continuing. "Anyways I wanted to tell you that you'll be free to go soon as we get the documents done, with congrats to you both! Doctors said that you and your baby are healthy enough to get going home nice and early! Oh, and by the way, what did you name your baby?" Lytic explained her reason for barging in so soon as she trotted up to Fluttershy.

Fluttershy sighed and smiled. "Harmony. We named her Harmony."

Woop woop! I am so glad with this chapter! And I LOVE Harmony! I actually drew her on paper, she looks great! Yeah, I don''t gotmuch else to say, hopefully the next chapter will be longer!
