Twilight backed into a wall. Where was she? The sky was deep night purple. Wait. The sky? There was a hole in the roof of the room she was in. She tried to make a light with her horn, but she had a brace on it. When she tried to cast a spell, it hurt. A lot. She winced and walked around. She came to a mirror, and gasped. Her mane was pulled to one side, and her tail was in a weird position. The bandage on her horn was falling off a bit. Just then the room started spinning, and she heard a weird voice calling her name. Twilight.. Twiliiggghhht.... Twilight! Twilight opened her eyes to find Spike looking worriedly at her with Owlowiscious at his side. "You were tossing and turning and shaking... Are you alright?"
Twilight trotted into the kitchen after a brief explanation of her dream. "Pancakes? You mean your famous sourdough pancakes?" Spike asked Twilight excitedly. "Yes, Spike. Sourdough pancakes. And I wouldn't say they're famous, but ok! Thanks!" Twilight though that after that rough sleep Spike got because of her, he needed a little refill on his energy. And somepony would be coming over soon.
Earlier.....
Princess Luna stared at the empty and lonely walls of the throne room, sighing. She would give anything for some decent company. Her tail flowed, the end brushing her throne every time it moved. Then, she heard a loud metallic creak coming from the front of the throne room. The door opened, and her sister walked in. "Hey, sis," Princess Celestia said, dropping her public regal-sounding speak, since nopony was around. She slowly trotted to her throne beside her sisters', smiling. "I thought you might be lonely." She winked, smiling and giving off a rare but small giggle. Just then, the same creak came from the throne room door, this time guards stepping in with serious looks on their muzzles and their spears in a protective 'x' in front of the pony they were bringing in. The pony was a tall pegasus, and she had a bright and light blue messy mane. Her eyes were a deep ocean crystal blue, and they were frozen in an expression of confusion and worry. She hung her head, a shy aura about her. "Your Majesties," One of the guards said as he bowed. "This intruder was found wandering inside the castle halls." He glared back at the mare, making her flinch. Princess Celestia stood up. "You two, leave. Let us deal with her." Princess Celestia gave a comforting but wary look at the tall mare, nodding at her guards. They immediately left, the doors swinging shut. "Y-You're Highnesses..." The pony stiffly bowed, nearly frozen in fear and confusion. Princess Luna stared at the pony with a surprisingly calm look, somehow sensing that this pony was not a threat. "You may speak," Princess Celestia spoke, letting the pony know it was ok. "M-My name is S-Soaring Spirit.. Y-you might now believe my story of getting here, you may hear it if you wish, Your Majesties..." Soaring Spirit trailed off, her ears going to the side of her head and her face blushing profusely, staring at the princess of the night. She had personally always had a crush on her, and meeting her made her even more nervous. "Tell us."
Soaring Spirit gulped, exhaling. "Ok.. I was transported from another universe. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true! I swear! I come from a 'human' world. D-Do you know what that is, or should I tell you?" She asked warily, feeling scared about asking the rulers of Equestria a question about their knowledge of species. "Yes, we know," The night princess replied warmly. She knew about both human versions, as she had done much more studying than her sister, and had also spend more than enough time with Lyra Heartstrings. Big mistake, but at least she got more knowledge out of it. Soaring Spirit nodded, continuing. "Well, I was sitting in my room drawing, when I... well, some sort of portal opened up and sucked me into it. Then, as soon as I knew, I was here, in your castle. Sorry about that," She finished, giving off an adorable nervous giggle. Princess Luna nodded, suddenly making a personal note to walk in her dreams to figure out what she was thinking. If this pony was a threat, against what she was thinking, she might as well monitor it. It was getting boring looking at the same ponies' dreams every night, anyways. She looked over at her sister, silently agreeing on the same thing; who she would be staying with. "I will have our staff personally pack you a bag, and we will send you to the place you will be staying." Princess Luna nodded at her. "I will follow up on you later. for now, you can stay here while you wait. You are welcome to the guest bed." She nodded at a mare that was standing in the corner, and the mare dashed off to pack Soaring Spirit's bags and to prepare her room for her to stay in for a couple days so she could get used to Equestria before she left for Ponyville and the Princess of Friendship's Castle.
