During a camping trip to white tip wood with twilight and friends, twilight tells a story of a young drake who was abandoned just after hatching because he was different from the other dragons. Both mentaly and thysicaly. This young drake caused nightmares through out the whole of white tip wood. Of coarse spike and everypony else who was listening believed it was a false tale, but as spike quicky finds out. The tale about a young fear inspiring drake called nightmare is true, but not wholey correct.
