*DUN-DUN-DUUUUN!!!* The finals are coming. Luna, Dusk, Celestia, Starshine, and Silver Haze and everypony else were busy studying for their upcoming exams. The exams were supposed to be the hardest exams ever in the history of Canterlot High.

There were two parts of the exam. The first part was a physical hands-on test where each pony will be given different tasks to complete depending on their type and abilities. For example, a unicorn will be mainly tested on magic spells and potions. Pegasi  on the other hand will be mainly tested on flight and agility. Earth however will be mainly tested on strength and endurance. Alicorns, in other words Luna and Celestia seeing as there are no other alicorn that is still in high school, will be tested on all three. Dusk, being a bat-pony will be tested like a pegasus and an earth pony.

The second part of the exam is the most boring part. The second part of the exam is the written exam. The written exam is made of 100 questions. These questions may be about equestrian history, flight patterns, magic spells, and other topics. The exam also includes an essay about a random topic that the student draws randomly before the exam. The exam has a total of 150 points. The exam has a passing score of 80% or 130 points.

Back in Canterlot castle Luna, Dusk, and Celestia were studying, or at least they did a while ago. Now they are gently cuddling up to each other and sleeping. After a few minutes they woke up and began studying again. "I'M BOOOOORRRREEED!" said Luna.

"But we have to finish our studies." said Dusk.

"But the topics for our exam are sooooo HARD!" said Luna.

"Remember the school rule, if you don't pass the final exam, you can't join prom." said Celestia.

"WHAT?!?" said Luna. "But that means if either I or Dusk fail, we can't go to prom together?" asked Luna.

"Unfortunately yes." said Celestia.

"Don't worry, if only Tia and I can go, I'll take her out so we both have dates." teased Dusk.

"Nooooo, Dusk wous wiw gos to pwom wid mwe!" (translation: Nooooo, Dusk you will go to prom with me!) said Luna in her most adorable voice ever.

"I'm just kidding Lulu, come on let's study together." said Dusk. With that, they all went back to studying.

Every day of every week they would study. During class they would take their regular lessons. During recess and lunch they would meet up with Starshine and Silver Haze to study, after eating of course. After dismissal, they would stay a while longer to study even more. After the school day, they would go home to the castle and study more. After doing studies, they would cuddle up and sleep like they always did.

After a few more weeks, exam day finally arrived. Luna, Dusk, and Celestia are still asleep. Suddenly *riiiiing* their school bell rang. They rushed to get dressed and flew as fast as they could. They flew so fast that the ground itself moved. Luckily they made it just in time.

The tests were distributed. Apparently the written test went first. *tic* *toc* *tic* *toc* *tic* *toc* Everypony was taking their test. The room was so silent that you could hear their blood flowing through their tense veins. Sweat dripped from every face. The smell of sweaty stallions and mares was everywhere. Every so ofter you could hear somepony whisper "Dear pony Jesus why?!?" Somepony even shouted

"I CAN'T HANDLE THIS JUNK ANYMORE!" at the top of his lungs. The time to finish the exams was halfway done. *tic* *toc* *tic* *toc* *tic* *toc* More time was spent, eventually only 5 minutes were left. *riiiiing*

"The written exam is over! Please proceed to the room assigned to you for the hands-on test." said Ms. Flora.

Starshine and Silver Haze went to the Unicorn Room, while Luna, Dusk, and Celestia went to the Special Room. Starshine and Silver Haze had to accomplish different spells and perform different magical tasks. Luna and Celestia had to fly an obstacle course, perform spells, and had to carry different weights. Dusk had to fly an obstacle course and carry different weights. First was the spell test. Starshine was able to blend into the surroundings and change her appearance to get through a horde of dragons. Silver Haze was able to create a mist that blocked his attackers sight and was able to cast a sleep spell. Luna and Celestia were tested on their ability to raise and lower the moon and sun respectively. Dusk, even though only knowing one spell was tested on his defense spell.

Next was the flight test. Luna and Celestia was able to pass the exam except Dusk, who bumped into too many obstacles due to his wing problems. Dusk had to pass both his written test and strenght test if he wanted to pass the whole test and join prom.

Lastly, Luna, Dusk, and Celestia had to take their strength test. Princess Luna was first. Luna had to lift a series of weights. Luna was able to lift up to 250 pounds. Luna then had to endure a waterfall that poured on top of her. Luna was able to endure 1,000,000 pounds of water pouring on top of her at 50 kilometers per hour. Princess Celestia went next. Celestia was able to lift twice as much as Luna. She was able to lift the 500 pound weight with ease. Celestia was also able to endure 1,250,000 gallons of water pouring on top of her at 90 kilometers per hour just like she was taking a shower. Dusk went last. Dusk had to lift a minimum of 750 pounds and endure 1,500,000 gallons of water pouring at 100 kilometers an hour to pass his strength test. Dusk struggled to lift the 600 pound weight but was finally able to lift the 750 pound weight. Dusk was almost thrown of the test grounds as soon as 1,450,000 gallons of water poured on him at 90 kilometers per hour but was able to withstand the 1,500,000 gallons of water at 100 kilometers per hour.

Everypony was able to pass the hands-on test. Now if Dusk passed his written test everypony could go to prom. The next day the results were mailed to everypony's home. Everypony passed the written test EXCEPT for one! Unfortunately, Dusk failed the exam by a few points.
