A group of ponies were being watched play lacrosse. One of the ponies, that was playing, had a pink coat, short and messy golden hair and brownish-orange eyes. She was also a pegasus and held her lacrosse stick in her right fore-hoof. A red headed unicorn yelled to her.
''Ink, it's all yours!''
''I'm on it,'' yelled Ink. She jumped into the air,flapping her wings and showing her cutie mark, two lacrosse sticks crossing over, catching the small ball and then threw the ball towards the opposite' net, getting right past the keeper who groaned. The red head ran other with a brown mane in pigtails mare.
''That was amazing, Ink,'' said the brown haired mare.
''Thanks, but the game isn't over just yet!'' In a upstairs room of the huge middle school was the science club, most of the pony's were watching a light blue unicorn who was gently levitating two jars full of liquid in front of her. A dark teal haired mare stood closely staring at the jars with grey eyes.
''Um. Light what's this meant to do?''
''Well it's meant to freeze when joined,'' the club gasped at this, ''Okay here goes'' A huge explosion erupted from the tube that she poured the liquids in. Pushing the smoke away, the teal head asked.
''Light, what happened?''
''I say a success,'' said the unicorn, levitating the jar which now had a blue ice in the bottom. Everypony gasped at this development. Light giggled gently. Later, as the sun went down, the two very different mares, Ink and Light crossed paths as Light walked through a outdoor corridor and Ink flew low next to her friends, talking words that couldn't be made out. As the two crossed each other, photos were taken.

The next day. Ink walked to school when one of the two friends that she had ran over and yelled.
''Morning, Ink!'' yelled the red head causing Ink to turn to her smiling.
''Oh morning, Sticks''
''Morning!'' said the brunette.
''Morning, Leaf,'' Sticks and Leaf were Ink's best friends since elementary and were always together. They walked into the school, smiling. They made it to their lockers. Ink was in between Sticks and Leaf luckily. She leaned on the locker, making sure her pair of pink wings were fixed straight on her side.
She took her shoes off as Sticks asked something.
''Hey, Ink. Did you see the shooting stars last night?''
''Shooting stars?''
''Yeah. You didn't see?'' Ink shook her head in reply, ''Oh, that's unfair. Oh well, most say shooting stars mean bad luck,''
''That's not true,'' a voice rang out. The mares looked to their right to see Light who was now showing her cutie mark, a book with sparkles coming out.
''Oh, Miss Book,'' said Sticks.
''I don't like how most say that shooting stars are bad luck. There truly meteors that have entered our gravity force by mistake and gone past us.A long time ago, people saw this and thought it was magical. That's the old tradition of shooting stars, I prefer to believe that, then say something so beautiful means bad luck and who knows maybe they will make your wishes true,'' With that she walked away.
''Who was that?'' asked Ink out of curiosity.
''Oh yeah, I forgot you were in a different classroom last year,'' said Leaf, ''The rest of us found out very quick that Light Book is super smart. Some say, she's the queen of knowledge,''
''Yeah and I heard that Soarin in the track team is totally into her,'' said Sticks leaning onto Ink.
''Eh and just when I thought he was my type,'' said Leaf with a hurt expression on her face.
''Wow, sounds like someone you wanna back away from,''
''Don't you mean 'go to'?'' said Sticks and Leaf in unison.
''Oh yeah...,' said Ink sheepishly.
In the classroom, Ink was asleep on her desk as a mulberry earth pony taught the class.
''Inkina Sport? Inkina Sport!''
''Ink...Ink!'' said Sticks from behind the sleeping mare. Ink eyes burst open as she said.
''Yes, Miss Cheerilee?'' she said standing up.
''Welcome back. Can you answer this problem for me?'' on the board was a question. Y x 5 = x take y. Y equals ? with x meaning 25.
''Eh!?'' said Ink stupidly not being able to read what was written.
''What's wrong? Your in middle school now, a question like this should be easy,''
''Yeah easy,'' whispered Ink.
''Miss, I have to say that she can't answer that question,'' said Light standing up.
''Why might you say that, Miss Book? Are you suggesting this problem is too hard for her?''
''Bust it. She's got me figured,'' muttered Ink, turning around sheepishly.
''No but shouldn't the take be a plus as that way, y equals 5 and the sum is 25,''
''Whoa, she's right,'' muttered most of the class.
''Oh, thank you for catching that,'' said Cheerilee bowing her head.
''No problem''
''Whoa...,'' uttered Ink.
''Miss Book!'' she yelled as she left after the bell went. Light turned around and stared at the lacrosse player.
''Yes?'' she said sweetly.
''Um, thank you for saving me back there. I owe ya,''
''No problem,'' she said again sweetly. With that, she walked off.
''Whoa. She very good...,''
''I'm home!'' yelled Ink entering the apartment that was her home and going to her very pink room.
''Oh, Inkina. How was your day,'' asked Ink's mom. Ink put down her lacrosse stick and sat down on her teddy full pink bed.
''Fine,'' She signed looking up at the celing, ''I have to say, maybe it would be nice being the smart one not like I am,'' She heard a odd sound and looked out of the window to see millions of golden shooting stars falling from the sky. ''Whoa, is that what Sticks and Leaf was talking about earlier?''
She ran towards her window to see all the shooting stars and she took a huge breath of delight as she said, ''Wow, shooting stars!'' She watched them for a few moments before realizing, ''Ah, I gotta make a wish. I wish for a lot of money to have cute clothes and lots and lots of chocolate, also a handsome boyfriend,''
She saw one of the stars coming closer and she freaked, ''What is that thing!?'' It entered her room and bounced around making the mare go, ''Ehh...,'' It then came over and hit her right on the head causing her to fall to the ground. It brounced once more before stopping and the light broke into little cards of light and a pink necklace.
''A necklace?!'' she said scared.
Light walked towards her massive home and opened what should be the door but it was only a gate. A huge golden reterior ran over and snuggled his owner.
''Hi, Chuu-Chuu!''
''Woof, woof!'' he said in his way of saying 'hi light'. Light stroke his head then walked towards the house.
''Light, are you home?''
''Yes, grandma,'' Chuu-Chuu began barking wildly.
''Why is Chuu-Chuu barking?''
''I don't know but it's probably nothing,'' She ran over to where Chuu-Chuu was. It was a storage shed,''Is something in here?'' They walked into it. There was a lot of cobwebs making Light have to push some away from her. Chuu-Chuu had ran over to something glowing. Light went over and opened the box with her magic only to come across a blue necklace and some small cards.
''What is it?'' she asked in confusion.
Ink was hiding behind her dresser and pushing at the necklace with her lacrosse stick. Seeing little harsh, she got slightly closer. The necklace then erupt a huge bright yellow light that make her jump back. The necklace's pink jewel opened up to reveal a yellow pony's head with blue hair. There was also a small card slip that only to small cards on the floor could fit through.
''Tada-mepo!'' He saw Ink and asked, ''And who might you be-mepo?''
''It-it talks. Talking ponies that live in a UFO!''
''Hey-mepo. I'm a true pony well a colt but still-mepo,''
''Okay....Can you tell me your name first?'' asked the freaked out mare.
''Mepple, I'm the protecting of the princess of hope and will soon be the prince of hope hopefully,''
''Okay...,''
''Now tell me your name,'' said Mepple.
''Um, oh. Inkina Sport...,''
''Inkina! Mom said it's almost time for dinner!''
''Who's that-mepo?''
''My little torment of a brother, Sports Ball,''
''Sis, who are you talking too?'' Ink got up and ran to the door opening it with her wing. Sports looked at her.
''Nopony,''
''Oh...Mom did say it's time for dinner,''
''Okay. Now go,''
''Okay..,'' He walked off. Ink closed the door and looked at Mepple who was now on her bed trying to walk. She didn't walk over to him and instead picked up the now no longer glowing cards.
''It's will be no good in that form,'' uttered Ink.
''Oh...I guessed-mepo. Can you take me to Mipple, the princess of hope please-mepo?''
''Huh?...I guess so but I will be missing dinner ya know!'' She picked him up with her lacrosse stick not wanting to hold it.
They ran towards a amusement park because Mepple told Ink too using Ink's full first name instead of Ink.
''It's looks like it's closing. We'll have to come back some other time,''
''No-mepo! We can't stop now, just a quick look-mepo,''
''Fine...,'' they walked into the park only to run into a stallion.
''How about you give me that thing,''
''Ekk''
''Run-mepo!'' yelled mepple.
''Sounds like a good plan,'' she ran off only to have the stallion teleport in front of her.
''Hoof in over foal,''
''I'm fourteen, you know,'' she used a annoyed voice. She ran again only to be shot at by magic collapsing and sending mepple flying.
''I'm getting dizzy-mepo...,'' he was soon caught by the stallion's magic.
''Where are the jewels!?''
''Inkina?'' said a voice. Ink looked over to see Light.
''Light?''
''Mepple-mipo?'' yelled a blue necklace holding a light pink and a darker pink filly.
''Mipple-mepo?! Stay back!-mepo''
''Wait, you too?!'' said Ink in confusion.
''Not now! We have to save my boyfriend-mipo!''
''How?!'' Ink was very shocked at this point in time. ''Wait maybe,'' she ran over to the stallion and tried to whack him with her stick only to have him throw mepple.
''And this again-mepo!?'' but Ink soon caught him with her stick and throw him into her hoof, ''Thank you-mepo,''
''Wait till later, Mepple!''
''That's the first time you called me by name-mepo. Inkina-mepo,''
''Oh, shut up. We have more important things here!'' she yelled as things floated into the air under control of magic. Light was on the floor holding Mipple close with her magic.
''Why is this happening to us?''
''It's up to you. Transform-mepo!''
''What the hell are you talking about,'' yelled Ink.
''Use the Pony cure cards-mepo''
''Cards?'' she then remembered the cards, she had picked up eariler, ''You mean these?''
''But which one?'' asked Light holding her own.
''Grab the Queen card-mipo,'' said mipple, ''Hurry-mipo!'' they both grabbed the right card.
''Now what?''
''Swipe them in the card slip-mepo!''
''Like this...'' said Light as she did so. Ink followed closely and the two was wrapped in a lot of light.
''Dual power wave!'' they yelled together.
''Wait what?'' asked Ink with a confused expression. Rainbow colors came and the two mares were soon coated in black and white clothes respectably for Ink and Light.
''Emissary of light, Cure Black,''
''Emissary of light, Cure White,''
''Together we are pony cure,''
''Evil spirits of darkness,''
''Return to the darkness from which you came,'' a confused face moved itself onto Ink's/Cure Black's face, ''Wait what again?''
''Enough talking!'' yelled the stallion.
''I can't believe this!'' The stallion aimed at her making her jump, without flapping her wings and to land on one of the playground equipment. Light soon joined her.
''Wow..,''
''I didn't fly...Yet I made the jump...I can't believe this,''
''I would look behind you-mepo,'' said Mepple from around Cure Black's neck.
''Eh!'' White was soon attacked by the stallion causing her to jump back onto a tea cup ride. Black smiled saying, ''Good, she's alright, now,'' she went to hit the stallion with her wing only to have to jump backwards and land clearly on her hide lands then moving back onto all floors.
''I'm getting sick of these teenagers. Raging powers of darkness come and shows these pony cure mares the meaning of fairness!''
A huge dark bluish mist appeared and entered a train which flow right off a broken track and turned into a monster.
''Zacennaa!''
''What the hell is that?!'' yelled Ink in shock. It threw some spiked wheels which Ink blocked easily but Light wasn't having it easy.
''Black-mepo! Whites in trouble-mepo!''
''Eh?!'' She ran over and blocked it with her wing causing a slight mark on her wing but she didn't care. ''Are you alright, Light?''
''Yeah, thanks to you,''
''Now lets kick some flanks,''
''Okay...,''
''Use the mix spiral-mepo!''
''How?''
''Hold hands and call the black and white thunders-mipo!''
''Hold hands?'' but they did it and using Ink's wing and Light's horn they summoned two twin thunders, one black and one white.
''Our beautiful souls...,''
''.. Shall crush your evil heart!''
''Pretty cure mix spiral!'' The monster was defeated with the spiraling black and white thunder and the stallion vanished. The two mares turned back to normal and held the two necklaces.
''I think they wanna be let out...,'' said Light. She opened the cap to reveal Mipple while Ink opened the cap to reveal Mepple. The two turned into pure fillies. Mepple had a sword cutie mark and Mipple had a love heart with sparkles.
''Whoa...,'' said Ink before coughing to get their attension, ''What do we do now?''
''Well, we're under your care. Can you please help us defeat the enemy?''
''Eh?!''
''I don't know, it sounds interesting,'' said Light.
''I don't believe this!!!!!!!'' The stallion watched as Ink yelled.
''Pony Cure huh? There not that strong,''
