Applejack and the ponies under her command ensured the Lunar Republics victory over a tyrant. She and her troops had sacrificed themselves and done so willingly. For Applejack it was for a greater cause but for her troops they decided to stand by their Commander out of respect. For there is no better death than beside those who stood by you in even the worst of times and still told you the honest truth, no matter how bad the truth was.
