Rainbow Dash kicked a rock on the dirt road she was walking on.

Shying away from the hard kick, it bounced away from her.

Rainbow sighed.

She began to trot along the road. It hurt, being an old mare like herself, but it was worth the nice feeling of wind breezing against her face.

She wished she could fly once more.

To feel the ferocious wind, tearing at her mane when she flew.

But she was to old... to old for that kind of fun. To old for her wings to do what she wanted.

They whould only fold and unfole on command.

Looking at them now, she unspread them. Normal wings. Five feathers, blue like the sky.

She stopped examining her wing and trotted on.

She was going home.

Ever since she could not fly anymore, she had her house built on the ground, so that it was easy to get to.

She rememberd the sad memory.

Yawning, I got out of bed.

I stretched my wings, readying them for a long day of flying. Rushing down my cloud stairs, I ate my breakfast quickly.

I stepped outside, enjoying the falling sensation for a second, then opening my wings.

They slowed my down, yet I kept falling.

I pakicked and searched around for a cloud.

There was one near far down but near me, and so using my wings for prupulsion, I flew over to it.

I beat my wings on the air furiously, trying to slow down more.

It I hit the cloud to fast, I would just break through it.

And I did.

A puff of white surrounded my briefly as it burst.

I kept my calm though, and tried again, moving my wings faster than ever.

Landing neatly on the cloud I aimed for, I exhaled.

After a few emberassing moments of standing on the cloud, holding my hoof out, I finnaly managed to get two kind pegesi to lower me to the ground.

After thanking them a million times, I set of for the one friend I knew I could live with for a time long enough to find a new house.

Pinkie pie.

I smirked, remembering it all to well. Pinkie, of course, let me live with her for 2 weeks. Then I found my new house, which was not to far from hers.

I gazed up at the sky longingly, thinking how I would give anything to have that awesome falling sensation.

“okay. Are you ready, dashie?” Pinkie called.

She was standing on a huge platfrom, me on a seesaw directly underneath her. It was my idea.

Starving for a flying sensation, I wanted this.

“heck yeah!”

I saw her take a deep breath and then she jumped.

I ended up in the hospital with two broken teeth.

That, was a fun memory, although it ended painfull.
