Dashie...

Daaaaaashie...

DASHIE! WAKE UP!

Startled awake, I jumped. I was having a dream about Pinkie. Creepy.

I was still sitting in a chair, a half eaten daisy on the table.

I ate it climbed upstairs, Climbing into our bed and getting a few more hours of sleep.

I woke a little before dawn.

Last night, I was comming home for work, happy that it was a friday.

Which means that today was a saturday.

Which means that today was no work.

“whoopie! Saturday!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” Pinkie shouted. Into my ear.

“whoopie..” I said groggily. “pinkie, can you keep it down? Its still only 4 in the morning. Are you really that exited for my birthday?”

“Oh, of course! Your getting old!”

I sighed with a smile.

“Pinkie, thank you. But can you please keep it down? Old pegasus here wants to sleep!”

Pinkie's smile became appologant. She lowered her voice.

“oops sorrie!” she giggled quietly. Then she snuggled back into the sheets, exhaling contentedly.

I sighed contentedly too now. I loved saturdays. Especially when it was a sunny morning. A new day, promising a fortune, or something good.

“hey, pinkie.” I asked after the party she threw me. “dont you miss twilight sparkle? Or aj and fluttershy and rarity? I mean, we just ran away. For all they know, we're dead.”

“of course, you silly filly!” She replied. “I miss them more than anything.I wish wwe could have told them where we were going or something. They would visit...”

We wanted to tell them. Were were going to. But then, as we thought about it, we realized. They would'nt really like us playing favourites. They would'nt like us moving away either.

So, without a word, we just left them. We would not respond to e-mails, or letters that came in the mailboxes of our old homes.

And so, we grew old together.
