Reflect Upon Love

"C'mon, Discord!" The draconequus yelled at his reflection, "Why so nervous? It's just Twilight. She's just a pony. Just a... pretty sweet loving pony that cares about you. Oh confound it!"

Then his reflection said quite calmly back, "Calm down, Discord. I can't keep listening to you like this. Just be yourself. The best thing you could do is tell Twilight how you feel."

"That's crazy talk," Discord returned sharply, "and I know crazy talk. Do you know how many ponies try that? And then, do know how many times it works? Almost everypony tries it, and it almost never works!"

"I don't think-" The reflection started, but was quickly cut off by the real spirit.

"I know! I'll just ask some friends for advice! But who?"

"How about Princess Cadance? She is the Princess of Love." The reflection knowingly suggested.

But Discord was all but deaf to his reflection now. "That's it! The Princesses! Celestia and Luna are sure to help me in my time of need!" With that, Discord snapped his fingers and vanished.

The reflection lingered in the mirror, and sighed, "I really need a new day job."
