Falling cliffs (chapter número uno)
I'm sitting excitedly in bed right now. My brother was coming to visit and I couldn't freaking wait!
Wait a second, maybe I should start with something a little more basic. My name is Lui. Lui Kasinek (that's cas-ee-neck) I live in southern Texas. Having just moved from D.C.
Anyways, as I was saying, I'm waiting in bed right now and can't wait for tomorrow because my brother, who is still living in D.C. and going to college is coming! I only get to see him about three times a year which is why I'm so very hyped about going camping with him. I eventually fell asleep and probably had a pretty damn big smile in my face.
I wake up the next morning to the sound if my iPhone alarm going off, and I quickly start to press snooze, when I remember my brother is getting here today. I jump up, after shutting off the alarm of course, and throw on some clothes, brush my teeth, and go into my room.
I lay on my bed waiting, casually watching a few My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic episodes and then go to get breakfast. I make a ham and cheese hot-pocket, then me being a teenager, lock myself up back in my room.
After a while, I hear a knock in the door and my father tells me to answer it. I open it up to see a college student, all 6 feet, 3 inches of him, standing in the doorway. "Damn Lui, your gettin' tall!" He tells me. I really don't know what to say back so I hug him instead.
After a what seemed like a 20 minute noogie, and some talking to mom and dad, he asks if I'm ready for some "hardcore camping". I tell him I've got everything packed and tell my mom and dad we're going to go now. We get in his car and start driving to our campsite, about 200 miles from our house.
When we get there, he tells me to set up the tent and that we are gonna go to bed for today and hike and stuff tomorrow. I tell him how excited I am and then we get in out sleeping bags and drift off.
I woke up the next morning to the sound of birds chirping. I got out of my tent and stretched as much as I needed too. I went in Grant's tent and shook him awake as well.
"We'll eat breakfast first." He told me "Than we'll try to get out on that hike I promised you, Lui." I was about to reply, then he threw a bag of bacon at me. "Put some of that next to the firepit please." And that's what I did.
After watching him cook breakfast, and eating it, we started up the first hiking trail we found. We talked about some casual stuff. He asked me how school was going and vise versa, things like that.
At the end of the trail was a pretty large ravine and I walked to the edge of it, "Lui, get away from there! Mom would kill me if you had an injury when we got back." He told me. "Oh don't be a wussy! I'm fiiine." Well I knew I should have listened because the last thing I remember was the sound of breaking rock and yelling. "Oh shiiiiiitttt!"
I woke up in pain. Everything, every single bone in my body hurt. I tried to talk but I couldn't bring myself to say anything. I managed to groan "w-what happened?" That's when I heard the voice "Quite a fall you took there, Lui." Than some giggling. That's when I noticed for the first time that I was in a white room that looked like it was made of marble or something, but I couldn't have cared less "Who are you?" I asked the voice, weakly. "Oh I think you know me quite well from a certain "T.V. Show" more giggling. That's when I blacked out.
I woke up to see light shining through a grand looking window. I was in some kind of large bed with purplish-dark blue sheets. I propped myself up on my elbows and looked around. I appeared to be in some kind if... Royal chamber. I got out of the bed, even though my legs hurt like hell, and stood up.
That's when I realized I was completely naked. I could tell, even though no one else was in the room with me, that my cheeks were red. That's also when I saw my MLP hoodie sitting on a bedside table with some jean's. 'Huh' I thought, 'this is a weird dream.'
That's when I heard a voice, in fact, it was the same voice that I awoke to earlier that... what? Day? Week? Month? 'Not possible' my conscious told me. 'This had to be a dream'. "So your awake Lui. Good." A dark blue... Pegacorn? Damn, did I have a killer headache. Stepped out of the corner of the room, she was actually kind of beautiful, for a horse anyways. "Come now, back into bed.You need plenty of rest after a fall like that." I made up strength and asked a question "wait a second, what's going on here?" "It is better you do not know until it is time." Her horn lit up and I was asleep in seconds.
After I woke up for the I-don't-even-remember-how-many-times, I was in that same royal looking room. I couldn't remember much except for the fact that I was wearing a hoodie with some quite... colorful things for a male, and some jeans. My head felt like it might explode if I didn't have any fluid soon, and I felt like throwing up everything I had ever consumed. I stumbled over to what I guess was the door and opened it. That's when I saw a horse that was (I think) clad in golden armor. "Ah!" It yelled. "Human! Back in the room" it was waving it's baby spear at me like a mad man. He pointed it at me and backed me into the room. I then proceeded to try and steal the spear by ripping it from his hooves. Following that, I accidentally broke it. "BACK, get BACK human!" He said the word 'human' like it was acid. The guard fired a magic blast at me, and I may or may not have screamed like a little girl. 'I think I may be held prisoner here.' I pick up the broken end of the spear, and as much as I hated to do it, jabbed it into the guards throat. As the blood leaked around the dying horses body he flops around kind of like a dead fish and then just... stops moving. 'Damn' I thought 'I just killed an innocent horse. And it may have been the adrenaline keeping me up, but after that I just crumpled to the ground and passed out AGAIN.
