Escaping from Celestia
Captured
Previous ChapterNext ChapterIt was around six in the morning and Celestia was a bit earlier to rise than normal. During the night, she had nothing but nightmares, nightmares from the day that Twilight ran away. She had dreams that not only had she ran away but she ran away to someplace she couldn't get to and wound up finding a special mare of her own, a mare who was not her. She quietly growled, "I still don't get it, why would she just run away from me? Her life would have been perfect with me!"
She then decided to go and see what was going on with Luna so that they could take care of their duties, eat breakfast and then Luna could get to bed and she could take care of some things she wanted to handle that day, the objective of hunting down Twilight, capturing her and bringing her back to Canterlot where she felt she belonged.
When she arrived at the door to Luna's chambers, she saw one of her guardponies standing there which was not normal, nor was Luna's door being closed at that time of the day normal either. She asked the guard, "Yellow Eyes, right?"
He replied, "Yes, I'm Yellow Eyes."
She asked, "May I ask why my sister's door is closed and why you are standing here guarding it? Normally she isn't even home yet."
Yellow Eyes looked her straight in the eyes and responded, "Princess Celestia, something happened overnight. She wound up getting really sick all of a sudden and we had to come home. I'm not sure what happened but she was throwing up on the way home and once we got back, I immediately got her to bed."
This caused Celestia to be a bit suspicious, "She's sick? That can't be because Alicorns don't get sick unless it is some sort of virus that would kill a regular pony." She then gave him a more intense look and asked, "What about you, aren't you afraid of getting sick."
Yellow Eyes replied, "Bat ponies and thestrals are immune to regular equine illnesses." He saw Celestia grab Luna's door and suggested, "I wouldn't go in there if I were you. She has green spots on her face and when I put my hoof up to her forehead, she was burning hot."
Celestia was gazing into the guardpony's eyes and she did not detect even the slightest bit of a lie. She then asked, "I'm assuming she is going to need me to lower the moon?"
Yellow Eyes replied, "Yes, she asked me to as you about that."
Celestia suddenly became more happy, "Well of course I can do that. I certainly don't want her having to exert that much energy when she is this ill."
Celestia then headed off to lower the moon and raise the sun. She was thrilled because with Luna being that ill, she could go out and capture Twilight and get back without her sister suspecting a thing. Once she was out of earshot of anypony she exclaimed, "Yes, today is the day! Today is the day that I can acquire what is rightfully mine." She then calmed down and added, "And tonight Twilight Sparkle, you will be in bed with me, where you belong."
She then thought about the forest and sighed, "This will require that you go into the southern forest but damn it Celestia, it is either you conquer your fears or you'll never have Twilight."
After handling the celestial bodies and having a quick breakfast, Celestia began to think about if she truly wanted to do this. She did want Twilight back in her hooves very badly but the thoughts of the forest still scared her. She was thinking about how the crows, bats and ravens scared her off earlier and how if she couldn't handle those that she could never handle the forest.
Finally around nine she made her decision, "This is too important Celestia. Forest or no forest, I'm getting my Twily back no matter what."
As Celestia began to fly off to the south-east of Canterlot, she had her concerns that Luna wasn't truly sick and would catch her and haul her back to Canterlot. She believed that Luna wanted sole power but she was not about to allow that to happen nor was she going to allow Twilight to aid what she believed was helping her sister take full power.
She didn't really believe that Luna was sick and had a feeling that she might ultimately wonder what was up when she would not go to check on her. She then realized that Luna knew of her fear of ponies with illnesses but that did not stop her from flying as fast as she possibly could without tiring herself out too quickly.
When she finally reached the gullies, she took off to the south. She then began to think about the forest that she would have to go into to find Twilight. Dark places had always scared her, as had darker colored creatures along with chickens but she knew that if she wanted to get the one she had deemed her wife back that she would have to face her fears. When she finally saw the forest off in the distance, she slowed down a bit and realized that simply thinking about conquering her fears was one thing but actually facing them was another thing entirely.
When she landed in front of the forest, she began to shake wondering what all existed in there. She had her concerns that there may be things far worse in there than timberwolves in there. She also knew that Twilight wasn't scared of such things and could handle things if a dangerous creature attacked, she knew that Twilight would attack it and easily fry it with her magic.
She looked backwards and then back into the forest and gulped, "Well, I better do this if I want my subservient little Twily back."
As she walked forward and stepped into the forest, she got a case of the shivers. She began to get scared but her desire to capture Twilight was simply too great for her to stop. She then figured that if she ran, there would be a smaller chance of something being able to attack her. She also knew that she was going to need more light to see so that she wouldn't risk tripping and falling so she flared her horn up to where it was providing an adequate amount of light.
The canopy of the forest continued to get thicker and it got darker the further she headed in. After thirty minutes of running, Celestia was incredibly tired and she had to stop. When she stopped she saw that there was a lake off in the distance so she decided to get a drink of water. She was also hungry so she headed over to what looked like plum bushes but much to her dismay they had been picked clean. She thought to herself, "Certainly Twilight couldn't have cleaned these off herself."
She then realized that this forest may be where not just she had ran off to, but perhaps the protege she had before her, Sunset Shimmer. She growled, "So that disobedient little bitch came here too? Well she will pay dearly for her disrespect and abandoning her wife."
After drinking a bit more water she decided to head further into the forest and it continued to get darker, dark enough to the point that she had to flare her horn up to as bright as she could. She continued to head south until she could make out another lake in the distance, one with three figures laying on the far side of it.
On the far side of the lake were resting three unicorns, one of which was woken up by the golden aura off in the distance. Despite it being decades since she had seen it, she knew who it belonged to. She rushed to the other two, shook them and whispered, "It's her, she is coming for us."
Twilight looked up and sure enough, they saw a golden aura off in the distance. This unnerved Sunset but scared Twilight a bit. Twilight gasped, "But how, she's terrified of this forest. One time she vowed never to come in here."
Sunset replied, "Well she must want one of us so bad she decided to face her fears." She tapped Twilight's shoulder and added, "It's probably you she wants so bad."
Moonlight ordered, "Teleport up into the trees. I know how we can handle this, after we're done with her, we can live here in peace."
The three teleported up into the trees and waited for Celestia to approach. Twilight was admittedly nervous but knew that she had to be as brave as Moonlight, she knew that she couldn't show any fear.
On the other side of the lake Celestia saw three flashes of light before the figures disappeared. One of the lights was a dark pink, another was red and another was midnight blue. She knew who the red and dark pink ones belonged to but had no clue as to who the other belonged to. She sighed, "The third one, who could that belong to? Do they have a matriarch living here to protect them?"
She began to walk around the lake to try and find the three figures she had seen. She then heard rustling in the leaves above her. She yelled, "Who's there?"
Nopony answered and she continued to walk around to the other side of the lake until she felt herself being burned by three separate bolts of energy. She heard one of them yell, "Slam her into a tree, slam her into a tree!"
The three then jumped out of the trees and surrounded her. The midnight blue one grabbed her in her aura and slammed her headfirst into a tree, breaking her horn off. The unicorn then yelled, "Her legs, break them! We can't have her escaping!"
The other two took to her legs and broke them. Celestia was screaming in agony as the unicorns attacked her. Once she was laying there helpless screaming in agony, the three unicorns surrounded her. One who sounded a bit older kicked her in the head and yelled, "How dare you, how dare you think you can come into our territory and foalnap us."
The second yelled, "You dirty bitch, you really think we'd ever go back with you?"
The third burned her with her energy and screamed, "We'll never go back with you, we're never leaving this place and you can't make us."
Once Celestia finally got her bearings straight, she immediately recognized two of the unicorns. "Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, you little tyrants. You belong to me and you're coming...."
Sunset burned her with some energy and laughed, "Oh we're not going anywhere and you're not either!"
The midnight blue one approached her and spit on her, "You have a lot of nerve coming in here, thinking you can haul us back to Canterlot so you can haul us back out to your shithole castle to rape us again."
Celestia then realized who the third unicorn was. There was only one student of hers that referred to her old castle as a shithole. She glared at her, "Oh Moonlight Tulip, it is you. It is the most disrespectful protege I ever......."
Moonlight burned her in the face and screamed, "Shut up bitch." The three grabbed her in their aura and began to drag her even deeper into the forest. Moonlight added, "You shall answer for your crimes against us, you shall answer for your crimes against every single protege you've ever had, all 200+ of us."
Twilight then thought about something, her horn. She knew that Radiant Hope would likely want it. She grabbed Celestia's horn in her aura and stated, "We better bring this. I know the queen will want this."
Sunset replied, "She will." She looked at Celestia and snarled, "And no, you will not be getting it back. You can not be trusted with magic nor do you deserve to have it."
As Celestia was being dragged off, she knew that she was in a world of trouble. She wasn't sure exactly what was going to happen but what concerned her was that every single protege she ever had somehow managed to survive for centuries. She thought to herself, "Maybe if I beg for mercy, they'll at least heal my legs and let me go."
