:In a period of falling from good graces with the many talented mares and stallions she used to know, Octavia Harmonious Philharmonica of the Canterlot Symphony Orchestra has found herself depressingly out of work and shunned from high society due to a mishap on stage one night. However, one chance encounter at a social meet-and-greet of who’s-who musicians and producers finds her running into Canterlot’s most well-known if not a bit eccentric producers and Jazz enthusiasts, Vinyl Scratch.

Through trials and tribulations, Octavia will work her way back up to high-standards success, make many friends along the way, and find out there was something about Vinyl that went deeper than the night life persona Octavia had come to know.

Notes: This story is special, because it is a bit of a dedication to an author I drew much inspiration from before he left the site, psp7master. This ship will not be the same without him, but I will try to sail it strong in his stead.

Rated Teen for some potential vulgarity, violence and use of alcohol. I'm not sure about the first two, but as it is commonplace for many VinylTavia fics to include alcohol, I promise you: there will be booze.
