Upon successfully completing a raid on a Taliban outpost in Afghanistan, Bradley and the Co-pilot gunner fly into a sandstorm. The tail rotor gets clogged up with sand and jams, causing it to catch fire and send the Apache spiralling towards the ground. When he wakes up, he is not where he remembered he was.

Told to embark on an epic quest, Bradley has to study hard and learn magic, and retrieve items that he thought would never exist to get back to his home planet.
