//-------------------------------------------------------// Equestria no wasure rareta eiyū -by Kaisumo- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Raging Hype of a New Series //-------------------------------------------------------// Raging Hype of a New Series The spirit of Chaos was enjoying himself in the history books, trying to find anything Celestia has changed to make the wonderful past not as terrifying as it was supposed to be. From Terik's latest escape to the Discordian Times, Discord couldn't help but notice there was only 1 to 3 paragraph describing each incident. Where was the minor characters who helped the heroes or how the heroes come to be, not to mention the action? Does Celestia really think her little ponies were foals that couldn't handle the truth? To say that Discord is upset is an understatement, in fact he was disappointed in Celly that she didn't put much faith onto her subjects. The ponies must know the gruesome truth, but how will Discord reveal the history in a way that it will not be burned in Celestia's order after it is to be published? As the spirit of Chaos was contemplating on releasing the true uncensored history, a light bulb appears on top of his head. "What is this?" Discord took the light bulb and ate it, "My, what a wonderful idea! I'm sure everyone appreciate a nice adventure series now and then right?" In that moment, Discord summoned a Princess Twilight hug pillow and slapped it with a chicken. Every slap changes the image of Twilight being slapped until she tried to defend herself with a book. "Thank you Twilight, how did you know i needed a book!" Discord commented to his pillow as he ripped the book out of the image only to leave a sad Twilight  "Now don't be like that, I promise that I will return the book to you in 2 weeks." ~~~~~ 2 Weeks Later near the crystal tower library, there was a line formed outside. "Omygoshomygoshomygoshomygo-" An eager rainbow maned pegasus was cut off by her friend's sweet sugary hoof. "pimmfi lafft dwwo" "No can do silly! Remember the last time you were so hyped up about a new cool book!" The pink mare with a puffy pink mane points to the library. "You rushed in and crash into the bookshelves and knocked over a candle and burned off all the books! We had to wait 2 more months for another copy!  2 months Dashie!" Before the pegasus could say anything another hoof was planted into her mouth, it seems the pink mare was making cookies and cream ice cream cake earlier today, judging by the taste. "No butts Dashie, your flanks will just knock over the books to the moon! We are here to get the limited edition hard shiny covered only 10 in existence 'Equestria no wasure rareta eiyū' with bonus soundtracks not destroying it!. Dashie reeled back and stared at her pink friend. "Pinkie Pie your so random, and my flanks are not fat, it's toned thank you very much." "Your welcome" replied the pink menace only to earn a facehoof from Dashie. The two best friends were second to next in line to buy the newest book series. A pink little filly with a diamond tiara trots up and drops 3 bits onto the desk. "Hi Princess! I would like that new book that came in today." The princess behind the desk chuckled and reach into a box and randomly picked up a book. She smiles at the little filly and hands over the merchandise to her. "You're very lucky Diamond, this book is the last of the limited edition for sell, everything else is normal" replied the purple mare with wings and a horn. The pink little filly brightened up and cheered. "Oh wow, i didn't think that i wo-" "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!" cried Pinkie Pie as she got on her knees and waved her fore hooves into the sky as to curse the very sun itself. A cyan hoof was placed on Pinkie's shoulder. "Pinkie, I know that feel." Somehow there was a raincloud above Dashie raining down on her as she looks up, letting the droplets run down her eyes. "Remember that day I could finally have all the limited edition of Daring Do, but instead I did the right thing and got Fluttershy back." Pinkie turns around and hugs her friend, letting it rain on her as well "Dashie, it hurts so much" The rainbow mane pegasus brush her hoof along her friend's straight mane, revealing her face to the rain "Pinkie, it's ok, let it all out." The ponies that were waiting in line ignored the two best friends that are standing alone underneath the raincloud, clearly not crying, and continued their purchase. It was all quiet as the line has gone around the two mares, thinking it was just Pinkie being Pinkie with her friend Rainbow Dash. Everything was going smoothly until a butter coated pegasus was near them, only to worry about the two best friends. "Oh my, is something wrong girls? Why are you crying?" The cyan mare turn to look at her, as her rainbow mane shadowed her eyes and clear droplets flowing down her face. "Fluttershy, we are not crying. It's just the rain, right Pinkie?" "Yup, you don't have to worry about us Fluttershy." replied Pinkie as she saluted into the sky. The shy pegasus was hiding behind her mane because of a random thunder from the raincloud. "Oh um, okay.... but girls, did you get your copies yet?" Dashie started to panic. " Oh no! We didn't get the book yet! Pinkie what should we do, we aren't in line and have to go all the way to the end!" As Pinkie and Dashie was panicking, Fluttershy was next in line. "Oh hi Twilight." Fluttershy hoofs 9 bits to the princess behind the desk "I would like 3 copies please." The princess reached into the box and takes a book out and frowns. "Sorry Fluttershy but this is the last copy." replied the lavender princess hoofing Fluttershy a copy and 6 bits back. The yellow pegasus frowns as she took the merchandise. "Oh, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie will be so upset." The purple princess was in thought, then she suddenly has a simple idea. "We can just share our copies with them" The butter pegasus smiles and then frowns again. "But you know how they are, they each want to own a copy of the book." "I'm sorry Fluttershy, but the next shipment will be in 2 months." The princess face the other two mares that are panicking. "They will have to make due with borrowing." Twilight has started to close the stale and announced the monthly book sells is over. The crowd had started to disperse and joined Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash in having rain droplets flow down their eyes. She only shook her head at the absurdity of the ponies of Ponyville over the new book series. Looking at the cover of the new edition to her library, she has to admit, she was going to enjoy this. As she was cleaning up she notice her number one assistant snoring quietly under a few books. The alicorn giggled at the sight and carried her assistant to bed only to yawn and decided she should do the same. ~~~~~ The next day in Sugarcube Corner. Dash and Pinkie was slumped in their hooves over one of the tables. All hope was lost, there was no way to own the book until 2 more months. A ring signifying there is a customer inside even tho there was a close sign on the front door. Hoof steps was heard as it was getting near the two best friends, and suddenly a loud bang was heard on the table. The two pranksters looked up only to see 2 copies of 'Equestria no wasure rareta eiyū'. "My, my, you darlings look like you've seen a ghost or something. I knew you girls weren't going to get anything with that dramatic display yesterday." The two mares look up to see a white coated unicorn with a styled purple mane. "And here I thought I was dramatic" The mare finish her point by dragging her fainting couch and fainted on it, then she stood up and teleported the couch away. "Don't worry, I made sure I bought a copy for myself. Dash and Pinkie were so happy, they gave their friend a group hug. "Rarity I love you!" Pinkie gasped and jumped away from the group hug. "Dashie, did you just confessed? Now we have to have a party to celebrate and then a wedding party for you and Rarity over at Canterlot then a party for the first anniversary and the foals and the graduation and the honeymoon an-" "No Pinks" Dash replied while shoving a hoof in Pinkie's mouth. "I'm just really glad that Rarity bought us the books" "Oh" Pinkie looks at Rarity then at Rainbow. "Well why didn't you just say so" The white unicorn started to leave Sugarcube Corner. "As I love to stay here and chat, I am about to be late for my client. Hoity Toity will be at the boutique in 5 minutes, it was nice seeing you girls." The two mares were left alone again and they were excited as fillies on their birthday party. Before they started to read their new book, they decided to prank a few ponies on their day off from work. After a few pranks around Ponyville they head off back home eager to read their book. Rainbow flew up into her room and cuddled next to tank. "Hey Tank! Look, it's the new series that I was talking about" The tortoise smiled at rainbow and was ready to listen to the story that will unfold. //-------------------------------------------------------// Volume one, Chapter one //-------------------------------------------------------// Volume one, Chapter one Long ago, before the spirit of Chaos ruled the land, there lived 3 major kingdoms. The Alicorns of Allure, the Draconequus of Brony, and the Dragons of Skyrim all lived in harmony. Tho the world is peaceful, the alicorns cannot help but be vigilant in security based off of an old ancestral prophecy of Dream Valley. In the Nightess of Nights, he who dwells in the shadow realm will appear with his dark kingdom to rule all others in eternal blight. Then a hero will arrive wielding the power of ludicrous along his allies, will show the world the clear stars once more. "So what do you guys think?" A cerulean mane alicorn with white coat asked while looking at a draconequus and a unicorn. The weird serpent shaped chimera was lost in thought. "Well maybe we shou-" "This is going to be the best D&D campaign ever!" yelled the dark coated unicorn. The draconequus slapped the unicorn in the back of his head. "Ahem, as I was saying, we should invite Princess Moony and Sunny to play with us. I'm sure they will be delighted!" She gave the serpent a stare as if he grew two heads. "No Dicrods, I'm planning on making this campaign gruesome. Also I was going to use The Smooze as a tentacle rape monster." "Crystal, those fillies will have to learn this one day or another, why not now?" Levitating a sheet of paper from his crimson eyes, the unicorn faced his companion Dicrods. "I'm pretty sure this will be more then just sex education, and you will never know, kids these days have wild imaginations." Crystal sigh as she rubs her forehead. "Yes, I'm well aware that Sunny will enjoy this, but i can't help that she will make Moony cry multiple times. As their royal caretaker, I don't want her majesty to walk in at a weird moment. I'm sorry Barmos, the princesses cannot be in this campaign." Facing a nearby clock, the white mare has started to pack up. "It looks like we will have to continue this next time, I believe your shift is about to start." As Barmos head off into his shift, he couldn't help but sigh."Does her majesty truly believe this prophecy nonsense?. "Well, Nerlau Stauf has been around for who knows how long? For all we know, her majesty was probably there when the prophecy happened." Dicrods scratches his head. "Or maybe she is going senile." Barmos and Crystal laughed. "If her majesty heard that, I don't want to be near you. Well anyways, I'm off to my post." ~~~~~ As the dark unicorn was heading towards his post, he enjoyed the view of the Kingdom of Allure. Allure has a border to the north towards Brony and to the east facing Skyrim, making the walls around the kingdom shaped like a 90 degrees cone. Each border gate has a device attach to the wall to lower the gates in case of emergencies.  The buildings were all roman themed built on top of a lake. With many aqueducts, little boats and flight are the main form of fast transport within the kingdom. As Barmos reached the east border gate, he sat down and stare into the sky. Barmos hated guard duty. It was so boring he spent most of his shift sleeping. The world was quiet with only the small breeze of the wind along the leaves until a very noticeable sound indicating a traveler woke him up. He looked at a strange dirty dragon, walking slowly in his dirty rags. Said dirty dragon has a dirty hood, hiding his dirty face and only showing menacing red eyes that glow. He sigh at the absurd dragon. This isn't the only time a dragon tried to prank Allure with the prophecy. As the figure walked up Barmos stopped him. "So zombies? Seriously? Or maybe you are an Adventurer?" The raged figure nods. "Ah, I used to be an adveturer like you, but the world was to peaceful. So instead I started to have fun with friends instead." The dragon looks at the unicorn. "Braaaaaaaaainsss." at that moment Barmos face hoofed. "Look nopony will fall for that, go ahead in and you will be disappointed that your prank isn't working." The strange figured shrugged and continued inside the border. "I can't believe i got woken up to a lame prank." As Barmos was falling asleep he heard more footsteps. He looks up only to be confused by the many red dots heading his way. "What? Oh wow, they actually pulled a lot for this prank. Still, nopony will fall for this." Before he confronted the mass army of pranksters he heard screaming behind him. "Help it's a zombie!!!!!!" As soon as he heard that the dark unicorn turned back to see a fellow guard fighting an armless dragon. Then he turn back to the crowd that was marching up to the borders. "Oh shit.. Don't panic, I can do this! This is the type of thing I was waiting for when I join the guards." He ran back and pulled a device on the wall to lower the gates. Running into the crowds, he levitated a horn and yelled. "This is code 95 I repeat code 95. No this is not a drill, there are actual zombies at our borders!. Remain calm and head to the nearest evacuation center! I repeat, this is not a drill!" Upon hearing the announcement, the ponies ran in fear. "The horror! The horror!" yelled a mare as she fainted on the hard stone road as she was dragged away by her sister. "Every stallions for themselves!" yelled another as he ripped his own clothes off and punched a random mare only to be run over by a massive stampede of ponies. As soon as he was done with his announcement, Barmos teleported on top of the border walls. He looked down at the massive hoard that is approaching. He was about to run in only to be stopped by a hoof of his fellow guard. "Barmos are you crazy! I just finished with one and those things are kinda tough." The pegasus looked into his eyes. "Running in will be suicide!." "But we have to slow them down until the main force arrives!" Pushing his comrades hoof off, he looked into the mass undead. "If we don't go melee then we will use range. Spectrum, do you have a bow and arrow?" "Of course, what kinda pegasus guard am I if i don't have at least those with me." Spectrum took aim "But a mere head shot wont kill these things. I'm afraid your magic bolts and my arrows won't slow them down much." Barmos stared at his comrade and then faced the hoard. "Well i hope that backup will be here soon then." The two guards attacked any zombies that has climbed the wall. In this battle, time seems to go by too slow as the two has shown signs of exhaustion. "Hey Spectrum, if we survive this, we are going to drink until we drop" //-------------------------------------------------------// Volume one, Chapter two //-------------------------------------------------------// Volume one, Chapter two It was very chaotic in the streets of Allure. Ponies rushing in and out, screaming for their very lives and some feinting death. No matter where they hide, the draconian undead will always find them. The royal brigade fought relentlessly with the endless undead, keeping them back in time for the innocent to evacuate. A lone draconequus stood in the crowd, trying to find what all the fuss was about. He looked left and right, above and below the crowd, only to see panic and monsters. Deciding that it was best to stay away from the battle, he scrambled to look for a safe location to clear his mind. Upon running in a random direction, the castle's tower had collapsed in the corner of his eyes. Fearing for her majesty's and Crystal's life, he rushed towards the palace on his two feet. As he tackled down the door to the throne room, he saw what he dreaded the most. Many guards murdered in by which looks like claws and some were drained of fluids into husk. He checked every body to see if any of them were still alive. His search was beginning to prove futile until he caught sight of the royal crown on her majesty. He rushed towards the alicorn that is lying on the ground, thankfully still breathing. Crouching down and trying to pick her up only to be pushed away with weak hoofs. The alicorn queen stared straight into his eyes. The red mane mare shook her head and pointed to one of the many hallways in the palace. "It's too late for me... but, you can still save Crystal and my daughters." After her final request, her hoof fell silently to the ground. His body froze with tears flowing. Barely having the will to see anymore, but still carried on in a blind rush, hoping that they didn't get them too. Charging down the hall, the chimera was having many thoughts of how something like this could happen. Ignoring the many claw and scorch mark along the halls, he tripped over a broken vase embedding a shard on his lion palm. Slowly getting up, he took his time to see the damage around him. Slam! "What was that?" Dicrods stared at the door where the sound has come from. "I know you’re in there. Don't think I will turn my back." His muscle's tensed while he slowly approaches the door. "I will count to 3, and when I do I will open this door." He place his talon on the door knob. "One... Two..." He twist the knob. "Three!" Pulling the door back and was ready to face his opponent, he could not see their face as he was blasted by a green magic bolt and flew to the other side of the hallway. "Dicrods?" replied a familiar voice. "Sorry i thought you were him" Dicrods painfully shuffled back to his feet. "Go a little easy on me Crystal; I don't have magic to defend myself against it like you." He looked at his friend and tilted his head. "And pray tell do you mean by him?" "I don't know who he is but he has some sort of powerful dark magic," replied Crystal. "He took out multiple guards in seconds and then he started chasing after us." "Us? You mean you have the princesses here?" Dicrods limped in and saw the two alicorns, one white with a pink mane and the other light blue with a night-sky colored mane. They both have a few dirt and blood smothered on their coat and he can tell that they have cried themselves to sleep. Reaching down and playing with their hair, he smiled. "Sunny, Moony, I'm glad that you girls are safe." Frowning, he limped himself back out the door. "If what you said about his power is true, and seeing all the mess on the hallways, hiding in this room is not a safe option. We must continue to find a safer place for the princesses." "Yes but," - Crystal's horn glows mending all of Dicrods' wounds. - "you will slow us down with all of those injuries. Let me help." Dicrods sigh as he looks into Crystal's eyes. "Thanks Crissy." The alicorn blushed as she levitated the fillies onto her back. "Don't think that means i have fallen for you or anything. You would do the same for me with bandages instead." Dicrods doesn't understand what she meant about that first part, but he agrees that he too would help her if the situation was in reverse. That was what friends are for right? Or does she not see him as a friend this whole time after all they been together with Barmos until now. In that case he was happy that Crystal sees him as a friend now than never. "Hey dragon butt," Crystal said interrupting Dicrods train of thought. "You were out there during all the commotion. Do you know any place where the monsters haven't been to?" "Well from the looks of it, the monsters came from the east gate," replied Dicrods. "And we are located in the middle of the country with whoever is pursuing us right now. Also, every citizen here is evacuating to the north gate." "So we go to the north gate?" she questioned while looking towards Dicrods in hope there is a better plan. The draconequus shook his head. "No, by now, the monsters should be pursuing the citizens towards the north gate. Even with the guard's help with slowing them down and protecting us, we will be trapped if our pursuer caught up behind us. Instead we will head west and hide in the woods." "But the woods doesn't have any territory!" his friend rejected. "We don't know what dangers there are!" Rubbing his temple, he took his time taking in a few slow breaths. "If we head to the north gate, we risk having the princesses lost in the crowd if we caught up. If not and the monsters intercepted us, then we have a huge risk of fending them off and hoping that the multi-guard killing maniac doesn't catch us. Or we can head west with the same maniac chasing after us but we get no distractions, so we can put a huge distant between us and him... If we make it to the woods i will admit, we will be in constant danger." Dicrods turned his head towards the fillies. "At least the constant danger will be at a minimum." Both were silent as they made it out of the palace. Moving fast and quietly, they were getting near the forest in the west. Both were smiling and ran for it. Plop! Dicrods look to his left to see a pegasus, not just any pegasus, but Bramos' comrade Spectrum. He rushes towards him. "Hey, you okay? Don't you dare die on me!" He placed his lion paw on Spectrum's neck only to turn pale. "No, not you too..." Tears were falling from his eyes once more as he remembers all the time Spectrum and Bramos complained about their boring guard duty. "Tsk... Tsk... Tsk...." Dicrods turned to the sound of the voice and sees a cloaked entity on four legs. "You shouldn't be worrying about him after i am done with you. Taking you out will only be a second." The cloaked entity blasted Dicrods with one of his legs, only to chuckle. "I'm amaze by someone of your strength will stoop so low as to save a draconequus." The entity stared threateningly into Crystal's eyes. "Come, join me and we will crush all the lesser species." "After what you have just done, I will have to decline your kind offer," replied Crystal as she levitated Dicrods and the fillies towards the woods." "You are no match for me." the entity boasted. "I have killed the queen after all. hmhmhmm..." "Queen Nerlau Stauf has been ill for a few years now. She wasn't at her best." Crystal gave a fierce glare at the entity as if it was meant to kill. "There is a reason why she made me caretaker of the princesses. Now that i know i have someone to take them away somewhere safe, i can fight you with all i have!" The entity cast a spell towards Dicrods and the princesses only to be intercepted by Crystal's magic bolt. "Dicrods! Run into the woods with the fillies and get as far away as you can and keep running! I... will hold him off." "But!" "No! This isn't where we say goodbye Dicrods!" Crystal looks back at him and smiled. "It's, till we meet again, i promise." At that moment Crystal was hit behind the head with small spell. "You shouldn't turn your back on an enemy," replied the entity. "I used a weak spell. You’re lucky that you are strong, because i will have a lot of fun playing with you." As soon as the battle started, Dicrods looked away and started to sprint deeper into the woods with the princesses on each arm. He ran and ran ignoring his body for rest. No matter how far he ran, he could still hear Crystal's battle. Running to a stop to catch his breath, he couldn't hear the battle anymore and so he fell over taking deep breaths. After a few minutes of rest he made sure the princesses are safe. Looking at their innocent sleeping face gave him a weak smile. As he stood up ,he continued to walk away from the battle. The walk was nice and calm until he heard a terrifyingly loud scream coming from a mare he knew so well, and continued sprinting deeper into the woods. At that moment on, he fully understood that his life was not going to be the same ever again.
