//-------------------------------------------------------// Omega Divine -by corvusbray- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// 1 I am Omega //-------------------------------------------------------// 1 I am Omega My name is Omega, Omega Divine. I am the last-born of my mother, and the child that ended her life. My sire named me Omega, which means “the end,” to symbolize what I have done. I received the name, Divine, when I earned my cutie mark. I learned my purpose was to kill the four alicorns of Equestria, and to punish them for their crimes. My name means, “End of the Divines,” and I won’t rest until all the divines are gone… I dodge to the side as an arrow whistles by my head. Growling, I grip the spear in my jaws and spin on my back hooves, and release the spear when I come around. The spear sails free and smashes into one guard pony, ending his life. Two more run at me, and I rise to my hind hooves. I move into a bipedal fighter’s stance. The first one reaches me and swings his sword in a wide arc. I throw my right foreleg out and catch the blade with my leather bracer and deliver a solid kick to the colt’s stomach. It reels back in pain as the second one, a mare, leaps over him and tries to remove my head with a battle-ax. I drop forward and buck the mare from behind and send her head over heels. Looking around to be sure there were no more guards, I turn and trot to the castle door. Behind me was a court-yard littered with the broken, maimed, or dead bodies of the castle guard. Princess Twilight Sparkle was next. I open the door and immediately dive behind a pillar as arrows whiz by, but they all come very close and leave no room to move. I smirk at the archers aim. “You guards are a lot more accurate than the fools outside,” I call out as one takes out a chink of the pillar. “You are done now Omega,” calls out a strong, powerful voice. “Princess. Twilight. Sparkle,” I say smiling. Your guards suck compared to Cadence’s. I tell you, her husband, or your brother was a real challenge. Hardly left me room to breathe, but I subdued him. The last thing he saw before I removed his head was his wife’s bloody head roll to him, and then he just stood there, crying over her passed soul. I gave him no time to mourn before I ended him though. Similar fashion by the way.” I cackle a little and peek out, and my breath catches. What I see shocks me. Twilight was on her hind hooves and in her hooves- no hands. She had somehow conjured hands… In her hands was a long barrel, with a wooden triangle pressed against her shoulder. hands folded around a handle barrel with relative ease, and her other hand on the front of the barrel. Her head was rested on it and she looks through a smaller barrel on top. I catch a grin before the barrel flashes with a loud bang and I am ripped from my pillar and arrows follow moments later, impaling me repeatedly. I hear her a cackle as I stumble back and into the window. The stained glass was already weakened by arrows and debris and it shatters from my body's impact, causing me to fall though. I hit the moat below and the last thing I see before I sink below is Twilight stick her head out the window. She nods once at my still body and ducks back in as I feel the cold waters take me. I failed…
