The white mare set a blank piece of parchment on the desk, and inked her quill. Parchment, a happier pony could write a love poem, or a song, or a pen and ink drawing. But not this parchment. It was to be used in the sad art of suicide notes.
The mare hovered the quill over the blank sheet, and then she began to write.....

My dearest friends and sister,
I am sure you have noted my recent depression. The medication I have been tacking has not helped my condition, in fact I fear it has only worsened it. I can no longer bear to live this way, and thus I write my final notes.
Sweetie Belle:
I feel that I am a poor sister to you, and that you deserve better. I love you so much and it pains me to write this to you.
Applejack:
You have always been my faithful friend. I may not have always treated you kindly, due to your uncouth ways. This was wrong of me and I hope you will forgive me someday.
Pinkie Pie:
I have treated you like a little child, when you are in many ways more mature then I am. You have stuck up for me many times, and I feel I have never repaid you. I apologize.
Rainbow Dash:
You are the most loyal friend I have ever had. I was so selfish when I ruined the race for you, yet you saved my life. I was a horrible friend, and I hope you will not think badly of me when I go.
Fluttershy:
You have always been my very best friend, but whither you can say the same for me, I don't know. It is because of you that I most regret writing this letter.
Spike:
I have treated you like a servant and not appreciated the work you do for me, or the love you have shown me. I am sorry to say I would never have been able to love you in the same way that you love me.
Twilight Sparkle:
All all I have to say is, you brought me so far from where I was before I met you. Thank you.
I want you all to know that you all are the best things to ever happen in my life, and I am sorry for the times when I seemed not to appreciate you.
I now plan to lock myself in my chambers and slit my hooves. Farewell, I love you all.

Rarity set the quill down and gazed at her work. She felt it did not do justice to how much she felt about her actions to her friends, but she did not have much time to make it better before sompony came to the shop, or wondered where she was. She left the note on the desk, and reached into one of the drawers with her magic, and pulled out a small silver dagger. She levitated the knife ahead of her and walked upstairs to her room.

Sparkle Sheen was a nosy sort of pony. The sort that would read you mail if if was accidentally delivered to her, or crane her neck to listen to what the neighbors where arguing about. So when she came by tidy up Carousal Boutique, and saw a letter on the desk, her curiosity was aroused she went over and to take a look. She read the letter, and when she got to the end, she gave a gasp and raced to the phone.

Twilight looked up from book when she heard her phone ringing, and she answered it with her magic.
"Hello, this is Twilight Sparkle"
"Miss Sparkle?"
"Yes, who is this?"
"I'm Sparkle Sheen the local cleaning lady. I have an emergency here at your friend Rarity's house! She's left a suicide note saying she plans to slit her hooves! I-"
Twilight dropped the receiver before Sparkle Sheen had even finished and raced out the door. She galloped to Rarity's at speeds that would amaze even the Wonderbolts. She raced in to the house and looked around for Sparkle Sheen.
"There you are! Did she say where she was going? Did she say when she would slit her hooves? When did you find the note?"
"Here ma'am" Sparkle handed Twilight the note. Her hooves shook she read it hastily, and the galloped up to Rarity's chamber.
She burst through the door with her magic, to find Rarity on the bed, holding a knife up with her horn. She spun around when she heard her friend
"Twilight?" Rarity gasped. Then she started to cry."Twilight, oh Twilight!" she sobbed
"Rarity why are you doing this? Why didn't you come and tell us how depressed you where? "
"Twilight, I...I.." she collapsed, her body racked with sobs. Twilight raced over and held her in her hooves.
"Rarity, we love you so much. We don't think your a horrible friend, if you had killed yourself, we would have been horrible friends. We all love you."
Rarity was sobbing so hard, she could barely answer.
"Y-y-you d-do-o? B-bu-but I've be-en so h-horrible to yo-you!"
"We all have faults Rarity," Twilight said, starting to stroke her mane, "they aren't worth committing suicide for."
"B-but Twilight, I still so depressed! My Medication..." she trailed of in tears
"Buck your medication! Why didn't you come to us for help?"
"I- Twilight... I...I..was so-ooo-o depressed! I didn't know if you could help. Oh, T-twilight!"
"Of course we would have helped you! Please don't ever do this again. It would break our hearts."
"Thank you, T-twilight, I love you all."
"We love you too Rarity."
