//-------------------------------------------------------// The Amazing Incredible Stories Of SpiderPony -by Thewolfcharmer- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Started at Field trip //-------------------------------------------------------// Started at Field trip It was a rather nice day in the city of Manehattan when Midhoof secondary school went to the Study Lab of Potions and Spells demonstration. A unicorn walked the class to the demonstration room while he explained the theory behind how magic worked on a scientific level and how it could really work on effecting the environment.  Their research was successful at finding where energy for magic was from and how it channeled. They made many leaps on analyzing how a unicorn horn could do so many complicated things such as levitation, how pegasi could control the weather and the atmosphere and how earth ponies channeled their strength from the earth and how all ponies picked thing up with their hooves. As the young ponies entered the demonstration area they oo'ed and awed at the different test tubes and chambers used for studying just how magic worked in day to day activities like levitation and holding objects. Diagrams were set out of the anatomy of horns and wings as well as studies on other animals and how they might harness magical abilities as well. A young stallion by the name of Polariod loved all things science and magic and he was quite good at it though it wasn't his special talent he was good at it enough that he was going to a scientific field after his secondary education. The young earth pony loved being around experiments and loved testing out all the things the natural world had to offer. His Uncle always inspired him to follow his dreams because destiny couldn't control a pony who had a will of their own. Polaroid took that advice to heart in his studies. As Polaroid looked around the room he stopped at the station about  the theory that other creatures have the potential of magic. He looked over some of the cages and jars that held all kinds of bugs and animals. Rabbits, beetles, parrots, lizards with glowing scales, butterflies with transparent wing and even spiders that shone like jewels. Polaroid put his front hooves of the table for a closer look at the jars. Then tapped the butterfly jar and watched as they flew around in a small frenzy. "And now in this section we are analyzing the after effects of teleportation,” The unicorn instructor said pointing to a chamber with another unicorn inside that teleported to chamber across the room. The lights in the room were turned down and a faint glowing outline of the pony was left in the chamber. “Now as you can see…” The instructor began explaining. Polaroid turned to see the demonstration and as he took his hooves off the table, he knocked a jar over. The young stallion looked at the left over energy of the spell in awe, he thought of the possible things the energy would do. Would it be absorbed into the environment or by other ponies? Did pegasus and earth pony magic have the same effect? His mind was starting to go at full tilt as experiments and theories filled every thought. His tail twitch on instinct and “Ow,” he said suddenly, turning his head to see his back. He didn't see anything but he knew something had bitten him. He nipped at his leg to try to get the painful feeling to go away but it didn't, his leg only started to itch. The annoying feeling eventually faded but then the young stallion started to feel light headed, he put a hoof to his head took a few deep breaths. “Man today is just not my day…” He mumbled to himself as he made his way to his teacher and asked if he could leave because he wasn't feeling well. “Well I’m sorry you aren't feeling well, of course you may go home,” the cherry red pegasus teacher told him, “But be careful maybe call a cab.” She pat him on the shoulder with her wing as the pale brown stallion made his way to the door. The demonstration room was on the second floor of the monstrous building and it was busy. As Polaroid made his way to the front door he narrowly escaped bumping into multiple ponies armed with clipboards or cups of coffee. One young mare wasn’t paying attention and dropped her cup but Polaroid caught it in his hooves when he passed by her. He hurriedly gave it back to her and mumbled an apology. She huffed and walked away as Polaroid kept apologizing his way to the main door. After he made it out of the building, everything went downhill. Everything in the city seemed to be going off at once, alarm clocks, ponies yelling and cabs losing wheels. Polaroid stopped at the edge of the sidewalk and rubbed his face in his hooves, he groaned as his ears twitch to read every sound. He took a deep breath and tried to get his sanity back as he started to walk his aunt's and uncle's home. He got to a crosswalk and mashed the button for the crossing sign but didn’t wait and started crossing. Cab pullers started yelling at him and stopping inches away. Polaroid got to the other side unscathed and trotted to his home. He walked slowly up the stairs in the building and to his room where he slammed the door and pressed the button that locked the door. He flopped down on his bed and was out in seconds. "POLAROID! Are you home?" The call startled the stallion awake, he yelled "yeah" and sat up. He wasn't feeling light headed anymore but as he stood up his blankets were tangled on his hooves. He look outside, the sun was going down meaning it was about the time for Uncle Determined Speaker and Aunt May Flowers to come home from work. Polaroid tried shaking the blankets off his hooves, then tried to brush them off. "What the...why won't they..." He got out of bed and managed to get to his desk after falling twice, he managed to get one hoof free as he reached for a pair of scissors but those were a two hoof job and now they were stuck to his hoof. Polaroid gave a frustrated sigh. There was a knock at the door.
